Miss Hannah Kathryn turned six on August 25th. I feel like we just brought her home from the hospital and now she is six and starting Kindergarten. I knew this day would come, but it doesn't make it any easier. Hannah is such a beautiful girl, inside and out. Always smiling, always laughing and always making people laugh.
She is a free spirit. I always joke that she is off in her own little world. She is a dreamer and I love that about her. She always says, "I wish I could fly, fly like a bird in the sky." She is a peacemaker. She hates confrontation and fighting and gets her feelings hurt easily. She loves her friends and family and is always genuinely concerned about others. Hannah is kind and sweet. She gives away her toys constantly (this is good and bad) but she always wants to make sure that her friends have toys so they are happy.
Hannah is sassy and stylish. She loves clothes, getting her hair done, her nails done and she LOVES shoes. She loves anything glittery, sparkly or bejeweled. She loves to use the words, "gorgeous, fabulous and beautiful" ALOT.
Hannah is our little mother. Not only does she love her dolls, especially her doll "Chloe." She loves her little sister Ava. She calls her, "My baby." She helps dress Ava, she brushes her hair, gets her snacks and is always there to comfort Ava when she is sad. She loves to play barbies and decided that she didn't want her Ken doll any more, because Barbie is fine without a guy, she can do everything Ken is supposed to do. Plus, he doesn't fit in the Barbie Corvette and it was getting annoying.
Dear Miss Hannah,
Dad and Mom want you to know how special you are. You are a beautiful little girl inside and out. You fill our home with laughter and happiness. You never cease to amaze us with your little bits of funny knowledge and your witty sense of humor. We love that you are our little blondie and are constantly asking questions that make us laugh hysterically. We love that you don't care what others think about you and that you have chosen to just be yourself. We love that you are a dreamer. You want to be a teacher, a nurse, a mermaid, a hiking girl, a painter, a bal-la-lay dancer, a butterfly, a gymnast, a barbie, a motorcycle rider and the list goes on and on. You know with all your heart that if you dream it and work hard it will happen. You tell us all the time that you want to be a mermaid one day, it makes us laugh, but we have no doubt that somewhere down the line that you will be a mermaid in some way shape or form, whether it be in a play or for Halloween, but you will be one because that is one of your dreams.
Hanny, thank you for always making us smile. Thank you for being our brown eyed blondie. Thank you for being our baby girl Princess. Thank you for your sweet compliments, your giggle, your personality, your knock knee walk, your run, your model poses during pictures, your excitement over the little things, for being daring and taking chances, for being a great little and big sister and for being our sweet little girl.
We Love You Goatsies and look forward to watching you grow and become even a more beautiful and caring girl inside and out.
Lots of Love,
Daddy and Mom
