Rainbow Bright

Miss Ava looks like a chubby rainbow in her swimsuit that Aunt Linny got her.
She LOVES to be outside and is now completely obsessed with the hose. She thinks it is hilarious and loves to drink out of it.
She could spend hours outside playing.
Just splashing around.
Chasing mom.
Taking a drink.
She loves to get her feet wet.
Love her chubby belly and thighs. I just want to squeeze her.

Playing with her shadow. Whenever she sees it she says, "Hi."

Filling up the pool. Time to swim.

Such a happy baby.

Getting wet.
Looking at the birds and barking at them.
Now she found the bug net.

She thought she was pretty cool marching around the backyard carrying this huge net around. It wasn't that cool when she tripped and it about poked her eye out, then she hated it and tried to throw it.
Silly baby.

Troubadour Reunion 2010

Me, My Mim (aka Mom) and my Sis Lindsey headed to SLC last Thursday for the Troubadour Reunion....If you have no idea what I am talking about, it was the James Taylor/Carole King Concert. Or should I say a little piece of Heaven on Earth.
There are no words to express this concert, okay I guess I could come up with a few:
Glorious, Spectacular, Incredible, Amazing, Relaxing, Inspiring, Wonderful!
I am so glad I got to experience this concert with my Mim and Sister.
Love you two so much!
We were so happy we were even going, but to make it even better Jason got us tickets in his company's suite. It was great!
Here we are before the concert started.

Lindsey Jean

Nothing like watching a concert and eating yummy food

The stage

James and Carole

James is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G

These two are incredible together. They are flawless.

I will admit I cried a few times. It was the happiest concert I have ever been too. Definitely on my top Five concert list for sure!
Carole is an incredible performer and had everyone on their feet dancing. I taped a few of their songs and so I will have to post at least one from the concert.
So So So Happy we were able to go!
Love me some James and Carole!

Reunions

We had double the reunions, so that means double the fun.
The Fry/Mendenall Family Reunions were hosted by our family this year, so we decided to have them on the same day.
It was a long day, but it was great to see the Mendenhall Fam and the Fry Fam.
Here is the Hannah Jean Mendenhall Fry Family
(minus a few that were unable to attend the reunions)

Here is my Grandma Hannah (in the red) with her sister Catherine.

Our Hannah is named after her great grandma Hannah.
Hannah's middle named is Kathryn, which we named after her Grammie Kathryn (my mom)
My mom Kathryn was named after her Aunt Catherine, who is pictured here.
Uncle Lee is also pictured here, he is married to Aunt Catherine.
Love all of them so much.
3 cute babes.
Parker, Hannah and Carter had so much fun together.

The men folk, just hanging out.

Miss Ava was all over the place, she was messy, sticky, but she was happy.

Parker was obsessed with this tree and wouldn't stop climbing it.
J & PK

Game Time!
Charlie playing the velcro game. This game was a big hit.
As you can see my sister Lindsey is determined to win.

Then we played a little kick ball. Our team kicked some bootie!

Aunt Chris has good form.
Nice kick PK!

On the run!

My mom brought this kiddie pool for a water game, but the kids ditched the game and swam instead. It was so HOT, so it was nice the kids had a place to cool off from time to time.

Then we played some water balloon games and this was a big hit.
Here is Hannah, all smiles all the time.

Carter boy having fun.
The gang getting ready.
The water balloon toss.

My mom, was highly skilled at this game.

Then Came Dodge Ball.
Which I have renamed DEATH BALL.
Check out my cousin Davids form. He means business.
It was dangerous.
The mad dash.

Luckily no one was severely injured. Lindsey did get hit in the face, but she took it like a champ.
Ava was obsessed with the coolers. She new there were some yummy goods in there.
Ava just playing.
Hannah was loving the swings.
Hannah and Saydee had a great time playing together.
Cutie Carter loved the swings.

Going so high.

Hanny and Mackenzie.
This is what mom did all day, walked around with Miss Ava.

And of course we couldn't leave without Parks climbing the tree one last time.
We had a lot of fun at our reunions and were completely exhausted when we got home.
We feel lucky to live so close to so many family members! Love you all!
