HANNAHS FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL
We can't believe how big she is getting. We went to the store and picked out a new school outfit, shoes and a princess backpack.
She looked SO CUTE. I tried to hold back the tears, but to no avail, I cried when I watched my little Baby Girl Princess walk up to her Preschool and then turn to me and do the "I Love You" sign with her hand. Which actually looked more like hang loose with a little live long and prosper.
After I picked her up from her first day, I asked her how it went and she said, fabulous. I love my teacher, we had good treats, I made new friends and there are cute boys in my class. We are definitely in trouble with this little brown eyed blondie.

What a cutie.
Hanny is such a little diva.

Her favorite part about her new outfit was her pink belt and silver, sparkly shoes.

Hanny had a Birfday, shout Hooray!
We asked Hannah what she wanted to do on the night of her Birthday, which she calls "Birfday" and she said, "Go to Papa and Grammies." So, we headed over to Papa & Grammies.
While we were there, we roasted hot dogs, which Hannah calls "meat sticks." After dinner, we ate Birfday brownies, Hanny loves Grammies brownies and then we roasted some mallows. Hanny informed me on our way home that it was a perfect night.
We just love this little Princess so much.

The Horney Toad

Parker went camping with Papa & Grammie Olson last weekend and brought home a horney toad lizard. I asked him what his name was and he said, "Spikey, but his nickname is Lizzy."
We put Spikey/Lizzy in a makeshift tupperware holder for 3 days, but then decided we better let him go or he was going to Lizard Heaven real soon. So after building a rock house for Spikey/Lizzy and saying our farewells, we let the lizard go in our backyard. We haven't seen him since and I can guarantee he has already escaped and is headed for a safer place to live, where kids won't try to hunt him down and trap him in tupperware any more.
He hid in the rock house for a while and once we walked away and left him alone...he was outta here!

Oh...a family picture, minus me and Ava with Spikey/Lizzy.

Parker said he is in a better place. Funny kid.

Me & My Babes

The other day after school...Me, Parker, Hannah and Ava were bored, so we decided to take some self portraits. The kids love this, they think it is so hilarious.
I love how our kids can be so easily entertained!
Here is Miss Ava in the swing.
Thanks to my friend Lacie for letting me borrow this swing from her, it has been a lifesaver.
Ava loves it!
Parker and Hannah were talking to Ava and trying to get her to smile. Ava absolutely loves Parker and Hannah.

I told Mr. J the other day that I feel like I blinked and our kids got big. Looking at this picture makes me happy, but sad too, because they are all growing up so fast. I love these 3 little monkeys so much.
Check out Miss Hannah aka Miss Diva. She is going to be four in just a couple of days and then she is off to Preschool next week.
Miss Ava....all smiles.

Our attempt at a self portrait of all of us. We tried our best.

I love these little moments!

Ninjas

Our 2 Ninjas
Mr. J and I feel safe knowing we have 2 skilled Ninjas living with us. They are quite talented too, yesterday they showed my back, head, legs and face how talented they really are. Let me just say, plastic swords hurt when little Ninjas use them on your flesh.

Could these 2 be any funnier?

Sunflowers

Hannah and I went down the road to pick up Parker from his friends house the other day. On the way back, Hannah turns to me and says, "Do you know what we need?" I said, "What do we need Hanny?" She said, "We need beautiful flowers for the dinner table." I thought to myself, where are we going to find flowers 20 minutes before dinner??? Hannah then pointed to this wild sunflower bush growing in one of our neighbors weed patches and said, "Mom, look those are perfect, they are so beautiful." She ran over to them and was so excited to pick the prettiest ones. After we collected a few, we headed home where Hanny filled a glass up with water and arranged her bouquet of wild/weed sunflowers.
She was so proud of herself and I have to admit, it made dinner a little more special that night.

Mr. J's Work Open House

We headed to Mr. J's work for the Family and Friends Work Open House. The kids were so excited. It is rare that you are able to come into the building and see anything, so it was a treat for all of us to see where Mr. J works. The kids were just excited because they got a free lunch and cotton candy. Parker was excited to go on a tour with Mr. J.
Hannah in front of the main entrance
There was a firetruck in the parking lot and they were letting kids go inside, Hannah was in heaven. Parker was on the tour with Mr. J, so I don't have many pictures of him.

We were bored waiting for Mr. J and Parks, so Hannah entertained herself with a blown up rubber glove.

Mr. J with his babes
Parker was one happy boy because he finally got to eat cotton candy and he was excited because it was blue!

After Hannah toured the firetruck & talked to the firemen, she told me two things:
1. I want to be a Firegirl when I grow up
and
2. I want to marry a fireman, they are sooo cute!

Playing a game at the kids carnvial

and of course, eating cotton candy!
We enjoyed are day and were excited to finally see where Mr. J works.

Parkers First Day of School

Parker is in First Grade this year!!!
We can't believe how grown up he is. He was so excited to go to school for the whole day. He was a little nervous, but did great!
What a stud! He picked out his whole outfit and was so excited because he had new shoes.
At his desk (he kept telling me to stop taking pictures, because I was embarrassing him)
When I picked him from school I asked him what his favorite thing about his first day of school was, he said:
1. Eating lunch at school
2. Have recess two times
3. Seeing all his friends
4. Learning new stuff
We Love You Parker!!
