3 Months Old

Koda is now 3 months old. He is a funny, stubborn, cute little dog. I do feel like I have a baby, feeding him, taking him out to go to the bathroom, bathing him twice a week. I keep telling myself, that I am doing this for my kids, which I am. Because they love him.
We took him to the vet on Friday for his 3 month checkup and he has a respiratory infection. So, he has to have eye drops 3 times a day and antibiotics twice a day. Telling myself again, I am doing this for my kids. But other than the infection, he is doing great. He has a few bad habits that I am trying to fix, but really he is a good little dog. He is so quiet and just lays around. The kids have given him several nicknames: Kodas, Kod, Kody, Koder, Mister Mister, Kodalicious, Kods, Puppers, Kod Kod and Baby Koda. Hopefully he can keep up with all his names.

Mumbo Jumbo....

So, everyday someone calls me on my cell phone and starts speaking spanish, 100 miles an hour. So of course I hang up. Then the next day it happens again. I usually just hang up or say I don't speak Spanish. I thought it was a computer for a while, but then yesterday, I was not feeling well, so I was not in the best mood. So when I hear, Hola, bjkajfkljdksafjkdjafkldj....I started yelling in the phone at the top of my lungs. I really can't remember what I was saying, but the voice I thought was a computer, immediately stopped and said, "I'm sorry you don't speak Spanish." DUH!!!!! First off, if you speak English, why the freak are you speaking spanish to me. I kept saying to you, "I don't speak Spanish." The man was like, "I so sorry. I try to reach friend." I asked him if the friend was a girl. "No," he says. Hmmmm, then why do you keep calling me (a girl) back every freaking day. UGH!! Seriously I was so annoyed. So needless to say, he probably won't be calling me back and if he does he is not going to like what I say.

On a happier note, I decorated my house for Halloween. I love Fall. I had to decorate because if Parker asked me one more time, "Why aren't you decorating?!?" In the whine voice, I was going to lose it. Now I have to explain to them daily, that we don't decorate outside just yet, I don't want to neighbors to think I am crazy (2 late) since it is still September.

I was thinking how every year I tell myself that I will start Christmas shopping early. So I started. I guess it is not way early, like some ladies I know, who are finished in June. How do you even know what your kids want??? Mine, change their minds like a 100 times a day. So forth, I am bound and determined to finish by December 1st. Who knows if I can do it. But I want to. So I can be more organized, not feel stressed, but most of all not be able to find the toy they really want. Like last years Optimus Prime, which cost me an arm & a leg. Since we really only have 3 months until the chubby red man comes. (That is what Hanny calls Santa)

Wow, I just rambled away didn't I. I don't have any pics to post right now, I have been slacking on photo taking of my little ones. But I will get on it. Parker has been taking pics lately, ummm let's see, there were pics of my rear end, my feet, my ears, a close up of the back of my head. But, I didn't think any one wanted to see those.

So, from the words of Hannah, "Peace Out."

Flutterby Bows

This is what has been consuming all of my time. I have been making bows, bows, bows and then some more bows. I make ribbon and flower bows in all different colors and sizes. Every clip is covered in ribbon and has velcro on them. The velcro keeps the bow from sliding out of your hair. If you see something that you like, I sell them out of my home or you can leave me a comment or email me at jandkschmitty@juno.com if you are looking for a specific color or size. Not only do these bows look good on babies, toddlers and teens, they also look really cute on moms!

The above bows range in price from $2.00-$3.00

Flower Bow prices range from $1.25-$4.00

Ribbon Bow prices range from $1.50-$3.00

It's Finished.

My desk is finally done. If you want 2 take a look, go 2 my trash 2 treasure blog!

Who Needs Baby Dolls

Hannah luvs Koda so much. He is her new "doggie doll."
She insists on taking him for stroller rides all around the house. Funny Girl. I can't tell if Koda is enjoying himself or giving me the, "Please get me out of here." Look.

Really, who needs a doll when you have a puppy?.

Nylons=Lots of Laughs

First I must say, Hannah is the funniest little girl on the planet. I thoroughly enjoy her daily.
When we were at Jason's parents house, my nephew Braden was wondering what these people were doing on Americas Funniest Videos. My mom-in-law was telling him that they were putting nylons on their faces. He was like, "What?" So my mom-in-law went and got a nylon & showed them. We were laughing so hard, I seriously almost passed out. The tears were streaming down my face and my back and stomach hurt so bad. PK was freaked out and wouldn't come in the room and watch everyone putting nylons on their face. Hannah was all over it, she was like my turn, my turn. We put the nylon on and I about fainted from laughter.
She was laughing the whole time and saying, "I'm funny." Jason says she looks like a fetal pig. Ha Ha!
Oh Hanny, I flippin' love you! Or should I say, I love you my little fetal pig.

Could this picture be any funnier? I doubt it!

The Pet Salon

Okay, so one thing about little dogs, is that they are a lot more work than big dogs. I am finding this out really quick. They need more baths, they have to get haircuts, they have to be with you every second, they think they are big and try to play/attack anything. I mean hello, you weigh 4 pounds, you can't chase the big black lab down and bite him, with out the lab trying to pound you into the road with his paw. Ugh. But on a side note, I do love this dog to death, but it is like having another child. So, don't expect me getting prego any time soon.
We took Koda to his first puppy hair cut and bath and he did awesome. We decided it was time for it, since he was running into the cabinets, chairs, etc because his fur around his eyes was getting to long. We took him to Petsmart, where he was loved by all and they wanted to keep him. His favorite thing was the blow dryer, he has a love hate relationship with it. Bite it or lick it. Hard decision to make. So now he is a clean, smelly good dog who is spoiled rotten.

Kindergarten!

Parker is officially grown up now. He had his first day of Kindergarten last Wednesday and believe it or not, I did NOT cry. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to, but I didn't want PK to see me upset. He looked so cute dressed in his new school clothes and shoes. With his new backpack that was twice the size as he was, but he insisted that he just had to have that backpack.
He kept telling Jas and I that his tummy felt a little nervous, but he went right in and sat down and was playing with the toys at the table and looked like he had been going to school forever.
Parker is such a stud and we love him to death!

Can you believe he will be 6 this year! Crazy!
Hannah really misses her Bubba, but she keeps telling him,
"I am excited you are getting smart at the school."
