Getting So Big

Here's Miss Ava.
4 1/2 months old and getting bigger, cuter, sweeter and of course chubbier every day!

Favorite things that Ava is doing right now:
*Grabbing her chubby feet and trying to put them in her mouth
*The creases on her thighs that look like a bum
*Her chubby cheeks
*Her laugh and giggle
*Falling asleep on her own!!!
*Talking, screaming and gooing ALL day long
*Blowing bubbles
*Getting excited and arching her back when she sees her daddy
*Grabbing for EVERYTHING and trying to put it in her mouth
*Nuzzling into her stuffed dog or cat and falling asleep
*Always having a smile on her face
*Being the sweetest baby ever!

The Zoo

We took our babes to the Zoo last Saturday. I think everyone else thought it would be a great day to go to the Zoo as well, because seriously there were tons of people there. We still had a great time though and the kids were thrilled to be there. Of course the biggest hit of the day was the baby elephant. The kids could not get enough of her, they kept telling us they wanted a baby elephant. Hannah said to me, "Oh she is so adorable, I just want to pet her, and dress her up and give her so much love."

Parker, "That is the biggest, wrinkliest elephant I have ever seen in my entire life."

There's the baby! Isn't she so cute??? She weighed 251 lbs. So yeah, I don't think I am going to complain any more when I have a 7 lb. 14 0z. baby. I feel bad for that elephant mama.
She kept crossing her legs and kind of stumbling all over the place. It is worth going to the Zoo, just to see this baby elephant. There are also baby lions and a giraffe.

I love this picture.
J and Hanny, all smiles!

Rhino Bums
Me and Miss Ava, she was hilarious, every time someone would look at her, she would scream with excitement. She is such a happy baby
We made it to the Giraffes and Hanny was so excited.
Hanny in her giraffe outfit with the baby giraffe in the background

Parkers favorite part about the Zoo was the reptile house aka stinky house
My gorilla family
On the train
Hanny on the carousel, she rode a praying mantis, she was in heaven!

I think it is tradition to get your picture taken with your head in this lion drinking fountain.
And last but not least, it wouldn't be a family outing without.......
HANNAH THROWING A FIT!!!!
Oh happy day at the Zoo!
Thank you for visiting, please come again! :)

Getting our Vitamin D

Jason made me read this article in the paper about how everyone should get "good" sun, so our bodies could get Vitamin D.
So, I took the girls out and we played in the sun for a good half hour! It was relaxing and fun to just kick back and take in the warmth of the sun.
Our sweet Hannah. We love this little blondie so much.
Miss Ava, her smile can melt your heart!
She found her toes!
Hanny wanted to lay under the trampoline and take pictures. She said to me, "Lets measure hands and see who is the biggest." I love this picture, because our hands and nails are a little dirty from pulling weeds in the garden earlier and I love her little hand.
Our girls are sending you all a message:
"Peace" and "Smile"
Hanny aka Trampoline Face
"Mom look, I gots your foot on my feet."
Sweet babes

I love my Vitamin D! :)

Fry Family Reunion

We recently had the Fry Family Reunion.
It consisted of food, laughing, a pie eating contest, a dancing contest, 3 legged races and of course more eating and laughing.
Here are my boys before the 3 legged race
This is what Miss Ava did the majority of the time, she is a lush
And they are off and yes they did win!
Hanny really wanted me to do the 3 legged race, I laughed the whole time & could barely run, I am sure it was a sight to see. I love this picture because check out my brothers face, pure determination, "I am going to win, even if I have to plow some small child over."
So since I stunk at the race, Hanny asked Daddy to go with her, I LOVE this picture, Love the hair, Love how Hanny is so happy, I just LOVE it!
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
(That is what Jason says all the time, so I thought I would add it in there)
Hanny said that Daddy is better than Mommy, cause Mommy laughs to much. She is correct.
We dominated the 3 legged race!
Now onto the PIE EATING CONTEST!
Yes that is me, participating in the constest. I was eating the biggest chocolate pie with SO much whipped topping on the top.
Jason's photography skills...extreme closeup. I was just about ready to lose it here! Way to much whipped cream! YUCK!
Shantell also participated, she rocked, she downed her banana cream pie and won!
I know, isn't this picture so flattering.
This is my moms cousin Valerie, guess what she is about to do....I guess the pie didn't agree with her. HA HA!
Now the Kids Dance Contest!
Hanny and Carter showing us their sweet dance moves
Go Carter Boy!
They won the dance contest! They were so excited to have Winning/Matching Dance Crowns! They thought they were pretty cool.
Cuties!
And last but not least, I had to get a shot of us eating!!
Which I know my family will just LOVE this picture. ;)

Sleeve Faces/Arm

What is a sleeve face you ask? Well.....it is when one or more people are augmenting a part of their body with a record sleeve. Is it funny you ask? Well....we thought so! We were at my parents house and we pulled out some of my parents old vinyls and we did a little sleeve facin'!
