9 years have flown by, we have been through ups and downs, laughter and tears, but through it all I love you more and more each and every day.

Lazy Summer Days...Eating Icecream

At this point I am pretty sure the Icecream man drives by our home on purpose. He knows my kids are going to be darting out the door running after him wanting a cold treat. I have a hard time resisting buying something, because I just love watching the kids get so excited over buying an icecream treat out of a van. It is hilarious! Here are the babes enjoying their cold summer treat on our porch. I heart this first picture.

Cousin Time

This past weekend Mandi was here with her kids. Parker and Hannah loved having their cousins here. We swam, ate way too much food, went on walks, had bike races, played games, watched movies...this list could go on and on. We had a lot of fun!

What Summer Is All About

Here are Parker and Hannah and their friends having a blast in our backyard. This is what the day consisted of:

1. Swimming for hours in the pool

2. Jumping on the Trampoline with the Sprinkler under it

3. Eating lots and lots of popsicles

4. Eating sandwiches, 7 bags of popcorn, pretzels and Cheese Nips

5. Me in the pool tipping all the kids over off their floaties and throwing them in the water (good work out for my arms)

6. Me jumping on the trampoline, not a good thing to do or to watch me do

7. Dancing to music and watching all the kids sing P*nks "Rockstar" song

8. Looking for bugs

9. Consuming massive amounts of water

10. Laughing hysterically

Serious and Funny Accidents that occurred that day:

1. Parker and his friend collide heads in pool, PK gets a black eye

2. Hannah claims she "drownded" and almost died

3. Me getting water logged and feeling like I was going to drown, from 9 kids attacking me in the pool

4. Popcorn explosion all over the patio

5. Ava projectile barfing on a few of the kids (hilarious to watch)

6. A few punches in the face during "war" in the pool. But everyone survived

7. The Hummingbird attack of 2009

8. Naked Barbie flying through the air and collides with Hannahs face, tragic, but true

9. Me getting massive sunburn, can't lift my arms the next day to wash my hair

10. Me slipping when I get out of the pool, face planting it into the grass, kids laugh hysterically until almost crying.

Enjoy the following pictures....we had a fun, crazy and exhausting day....But that is what summer is all about!!

Adventures in the Backyard

These 3 little monkeys can play for hours. They all have great imaginations and love playing together. They were outside playing and it started to rain and so they had to make a secret agent fort. Here are a few pictures of their latest adventure in Papa & Grammies backyard.

Ava just loves her Papa Nick. She is always smiling for him and cooing and giggling when he looks at her. This little Peanut, has everyone wrapped around her finger!

The 1 Finger Hold

The other day I had to hurry and put Ava down while I was feeding her, because yet again Hannah fell and hurt herself and was screaming at the top of her lungs. When I came back to pick up Ava and finish her feeding, this is what I found. I guess she realized that in a crisis situation, she was just fine feeding herself.

Our Own Entertainment

Me, Hannah and Ava were waiting patiently in the car for Mr. J and Parks to finish shopping for flip flops. Hannah and I were getting bored and HOT, so we pulled the camera out and started having some fun. Our little Hanny is so photogenic and is seriously a gorgeous little girl. I love her sweet personality and how funny she is. She loved taking pictures and being silly!

Reunion Time

We had the Mendenhall Family Reunion and Aunt Catherines Family was in charge this year. They put on their version of Survivor. It was a lot of fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Of course, it was really competitive, but a lot of fun!

I honestly can't remember what they were calling this game, but it was really fun.
