Just Looking Back.

Since we bought our new computer, Jas has been transferring all our "stuff" from the ancient laptop we had to our wonderful new computer. In the process, I have been able to go through some pictures and I found a few I just had to post. They were from 2007, so not long ago, but still my kiddies look so little. They are growing up way to fast and I just hope I am taking every thing in that they do. I don't want to forget how funny, little, sweet, crazy and naughty they were and of course still are. ;) I love these babes!
I seriously forgot how funny Hanny used to smile. She was still in smiling training.
Going through pictures of Parker, I realized, "Does this kid ever have his mouth closed?"
This is "Vampire Smiling" stage for Hanny.
I guess he does close his mouth, Parks has got one killer smile!
Oh look, "Normal smile" stage. Yahoo! She is still obsessed with Princess crowns.
The Cheeser.
Playing at Papa and Grammies.
The Shoe Lover.
The Faux Hawk. Poor girl, her hair was just growing right in front for such a long time. Luckily we had Tara to help cut her hair to make it grow thicker and normal. I still love this picture though, that is how I remember Hanny, frizzy, thin, faux hawk hair.
I seriously could have posted tons more, but I was sparing all of you.
**********A quick update to our daily life right now**********
1. Hannah gets her tonsils out on March 19. I am excited and nervous. Excited because hopefully she will not be sick ALL of the time any more. Nervous because who wants to see their kids have surgery and be hurting.
2. Parker and Hannah both have the flu today. I got a 4:17 a.m. wake up call to the sound of sickness, that will definitely make you jump out of bed.
3. I am now 28 weeks along and getting more excited, scared, nervous and tired at the thought of being a "new" mommy again. Oh and this little one still does not have a name. Ugh!
Can't wait for Spring!! Oh and BOO!!!! to the snow that was on my lawn this morning when I woke up!!

27 Weeks.

I realized that I haven't blogged a lot about this pregnancy, except the illnesses. I thought I would blog a few things, because I know when she gets here I will forget a lot of the little things.
Things I have craved this pregnancy:

Pickles. I thought this was funny when people said they craved pickles, but it is true. Baby Dills, yummy.
MILK. Between me and the kids we can go through a gallon of milk in 4 days. I can't get enough of it.
Peanut Butter. To bad I can't eat it any more, because it gives me headaches. But, b4 the headaches started, I would eat it right out of the jar.
Tomato Sandwiches. I am unable to eat tomato's either, because they also give me headaches. I can't wait for this summer, for yummy tomato's straight off the vine. MMMMmmmm.
P*nda Express. Orange Chicken, Noodles, Sweet 'n Sour Pork. Need I say more.
D*ve Chocolates. Not only is this chocolate glorious, inside each of the Dove wrappers, they have a little uplifting message. So, I get chocolate and a boost.
Cheese. Mostly string cheese.
Caffeine Free C*ke. I have to have a can every morning or let's just say me and the toilet bowl will be friends all day. Seriously, caffeine free is not that much different, it is still just as tasty.

Things that make me cringe, since I have become prego, Food and Non-Food items:

The ticking clock in my loft. OH MY GOSH!! I hate that thing. I swear I can hear it any where in the house, it makes me crazy. I know I should just get rid of it, but it is the only clock up there and then it will drive me insane when I don't know what time it is. (I will get a new clock, trust me.)
Watching people eat. I can't stand it. It grosses me out. I can't even type about it, I am cringing.
The smell of my dog. Even if he is clean, I just can't stand it. He always smells like shampoo, dog food or stinky wet grass. Yuck.
I can't sleep face-2-face. I can't face Jason any more when we sleep. I will seriously freak out. It weirds me out.
Really soft/thick bread. I bought a loaf of bread at M*ceys the other day and it was so thick, I almost gagged to death.
The smell of vinegar. Need I say more, who likes that smell when they are prego or not.
The smell of raw meat, broccoli, Mac & Cheese. I don't what it is, but I CAN'T STAND IT!
Smelly Lotion. I can't wear it and I don't like when I smell it.

Things I don't want to forget about this pregnancy:

*The day I found out I was pregnant and how I took 7 pregnancy tests. I seriously was in denial, since she was a SURPRISE!
*When we decided to find out what we were having at the last minute and Dr. Jay told us it was a girl (when I was prepared to hear boy) and how I cried like this was my first pregnancy. I was overwhelmed with how I immediately fell in love with my baby girl and how excited I was to have another little princess.
*Telling Parker and Hannah we were having a girl and how Hanny was screaming and jumping up and down and how Parker said, "That's stupid." But than later admitted he was really excited.
*Feeling her move for the first time. I forgot how amazing that feels.
*Watching my kids facial expressions when they felt her kick for the first time. They were so excited and couldn't stop smiling.
*During the ultrasound, watching her little hands cover her eyes. Then seeing her profile and realizing she will probably have a turned up nose and big lips like the rest of my kids.

There are many more things that have happened that I don't want to forget and of course there will be many more to come. It seems like I am always saying I can't wait to not be pregnant any more, but it really is a little miracle to be able to carry a child and I am very blessed to be able to have children. I can't wait to meet our new baby girl and see who she looks like and hold her tiny hands in mine, what a blessing.

Random.

Here is a bunch of RANDOM pictures of what we have been up to lately.
I still can't figure out how kids can play video games every day and not get bored. I guess I should rephrase that, I still can't figure out how kids and my husband.....
Parker and Hanny love to play. Hannah is obsessed with bowling on the wii and PK loves Batman on his DS and wii. Hanny also loves her Princess DS (her leap pad leapster.)
Parks playing Indiana Jones, notice the deep concentration.
Hanny playing some Princess game. She was ticked I was trying to take her picture, she kept saying, "You are going to MESS ME UP!!"

My generous and incredibly talented parents finished these bunkbeds for my kiddies this past weekend. Thanks to Grammie for her hard work sanding and painting the bunkbeds and thanks to Papa for building the rail and ladder and putting it all together. We Love Papa and Grammie!!
(Plus, the bunkbeds have made our kids sleep better because they are obsessed with their beds!! I think they turned out wonderful!!)

And here are just some pictures of my little ones this past week.....
Nice cheeser Hanny!! My little girl is obsessed with books. She is just like her daddy.
Here is Parks practicing his math skills. He was so proud, he did this all by himself. Smart boy! He will definitely get his math skills from his Dad.
We were just about to have family prayer and Hanny decided she better accessorize before we started and of course talking on the phone is definitely a Diva necessity. Lookin' good Han!
LEGO MANIA!!! Our children are OBSESSED with Legos. They are every where!!
Just one more of Hanny.
Hopefully, in the next little bit more exciting things will be going on. In the next few weeks we will be starting the babies nursery, Yahoo! I just need to get my act together and clean that horridly messy room out. Jas and I did paint our loft this past weekend and I really like the color. Um, Hannah is sick again. I swear we really do have the worst luck. We can't wait for spring!! Oh and we wish that people would realize that just because the temperature is 45-50 degrees outside, doesn't mean we don't have to wear coats, long pant, or socks and shoes. This is when everyone gets sick because they think it is summer or something and everyone gets a cold. WEAR CLOTHES, it is only FEBRUARY!!!
Oh and I am finally under 100 days until our little one gets here, the countdown begins!!

The Baby With No Name

I know we have until May to figure out what we are going to name our little one, but I am still freaking out because with PK and Han we already had their names picked out 4 months into my pregnancies. This time, we are majorly struggling....We have NO names at all. We can't agree on any name and when we do find a name we kind of like, something occurs to make us not like that name. I know it sounds weird, but we like the name, let's say, "Kristy" (just an example) and then I go out to eat and our horrid waitress who is a snot face is named "Kristy" well I am not liking that name any more. We are strange I know, but sometimes you get a bad taste in your mouth. I am aware I think way to much into their name, but hey they are going to have this name for the rest of their lives, so it has to be the right one.
So, this post is a cry out for HELP!!!! If you have any cute Girl names, please pass them our way, we would appreciate any suggestions, because as of right now, Hanny is determined to name her Cindy Lou Hoo Smith.

ThE FiNiShEd PrOjEcTs

After a week of sanding and painting, my projects are finally complete! Hallelujah!!
I love how everything turned out. So, here are some pics of what I have been up to.
The before picture of my red oak armoire:
The After picture:

I painted it black because, I am of obsessed with black paint. Sanded the edges, stained the whole thing with walnut stain and then clear coated it.
I Love Love Love how it turned out!!!
These frames were also red oak, I just sanded them and painted them black.
Pictures courtesy of Rebekah Westover Photography.

This is the only before picture I have of the kids play table and chairs. I bought this at Ike*, unfinished.
The After Picture. I painted the base of the table black, the top is a walnut stain. The chairs are the color Bulls Eye from Kwal paint with sanded edges and a walnut stain on them.

I love how the table and chairs turned out. The kids love it to because it matches the computer desk I did last summer. So, they think they are big like dad and mom.
I am now taking a break from projects for a while. Seriously, was I crazy or something to start these projects being prego??? The answer is, YES! But, I am glad that I finished them before the baby came and I am thoroughly enjoying my loft now.
