Halloween Party
We went to Papa and Grammie Olsons Ward Halloween Party on Tuesday night and we had so much fun! First of all Papa and Grammie had the best costumes on, they looked great! The kids were so excited to go! They got all dressed up in their cute costumes and we were off. We played games, ate yummy food, had a costume parade, a cake contest and we trick or treated. It was so much fun! Thanks for inviting us Papa and Grammie.
Grammie, Papa, Hanny and Parker all dressed up!
Don't my parents look great?!? Dad and Mom, you guys are the best! My mom was obviously Cruella De Vil and my dad was Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Dad, you seriously look good with a mullet.
The Batman's! Parker and Carter in the costume parade.Parker won a prize for his costume. And so did Papa and Grammie!
Thanks for the great time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PARKER!
So, we are officially parents to a 6 year old!!! I can't believe you are already six Parks! We Love you so much! Parker is such a sweet, friendly, feisty, kind of mouthy, smart, creative, inventive, imaginative, cute, tender hearted, hilarious boy!! He is constantly making us laugh, with the funny things he does or says. He is very creative and loves to draw and make things. He is obsessed with bugs, Indiana Jones, Spy Stuff, Batman, Star Wars, Lego's, Games, this list could go on and on. He has been such a joy to have in our family. Not only is he an awesome son, but he is the best big brother. He is always playing with Hannah and watching out for her. He makes friends easily and he is always concerned for others. Oh, and how can I forget, he just got his first loose tooth. We hope your Birthday was everything you wanted it to be Parks!!
WE LOVE YOU PK!

mmmmmmmmmm...cocoa.
Yum Yum Yum in my Tum Tum Tum. Tonight I was chilly. So I turned on my fireplace and got a warm blankie, but it just wasn't cutting it. I sat there thinking what am I going to do to remedy this coldness and then it hit me, my CocoMotion! It has been neglected for so many months, so I ran to my cupboard and pulled it out. I carefully filled it with water and scooped many spoonfuls of yummy Steph*ns hot cocoa in it and hit the start button. Oh, the noise of the Cocomotion mixing and warming the cocoa, glorious! So, I then consumed two and a 1/2 cups full of warm, scrumptious hot cocoa. I didn't feel to bad because, I mean I am drinking chocolate, not eating it right??? Well, needless to say I am cozy warm and officially addicted. So now I am on my way to bed to turn on my bed warmer. I am such a lush, but let me tell you a bed warmer is like sleeping in warm hot cocoa, wait except I will not get wet or smell like chocolate, but it is so warm, so maybe it is like being warmed up in the microwave. Ha Ha. Who knows, but if you don't have a Cocomotion or a bed warmer, invest in them now. You will not regret the warmth. MMMMM....cocoa. MMMMMM......warm bed.
CaRter BoY tUrnS 2!!!
Happy Birthday Carter Boy!!!

Quirks.
So I was tagged by Tara and I have to expose 5 Quirks. Oh dear, I'm afraid everyone is going to see how crazy I am. Wait, you probably already know I am crazy, so here it goes.....
Quirks of Kristins....
#1. I can not stand "squeaky/rattling" noises of any kind. Example, if we are in the car and something is squeaking or rattling I start to have anxiety. I will tear apart the car until I find the noise. It could be a zipper on a bag, the cup holder, the seat belt, etc., etc. Who knows, but if it is making noise, I will find it and I will stop it. #2. I am totally OCD. Well, not with everything. But there are 2 main things. "Did I lock the door?" and "Did I unplug my hair straightener?" It is totally annoying. Because I have tried to drive away from the house without "double checking" and I have to turn around and go back to make sure the doors are locked and my straightener is unplugged. Now, when we get in the car to go somewhere I say, "Oh no, did I...." Then my dear sweet hubby chimes in, "Yes, I locked the door and I unplugged the hair straightener." What a good man to help me with my OCD.
#3. I do not like Adult FEET. AUUUGGGGGHHHH! Just the thought of adult feet makes me want to cringe. Okay so when I say adult feet it seems a little strange right, well I love baby feet and kid feet, well to a certain age, lets say 8. So I guess I should say I do not like young adult/adult feet. They are gross. I don't like feet touching me, I don't want to touch feet, end of story. Just writing this is making me squirm.
#4. There are several things I have a hard time passing up, especially if it is a good deal. They include, paper, fake flowers and used furniture. Okay, so kind of a weird combination. But I love paper..the colors, the patterns, so pretty. Flowers, because I make bows and I love making bows, so of course I have to buy them. Then comes the used furniture, I just can't help myself. Everything in my house has been refurbished, it is an addiction. I actually have 3 pieces of furniture in my garage right now that need some TLC, but who knows when that is going to happen. I just love great deals.
#5. I just asked Jason what is a quirk I have and he thought about it and said, "I don't know." So I guess I am perfect in his eyes. :) ha ha. I honestly can't think of anything else, unless you count...I don't do well in the car when we drive long distance, I squeeze the toothpaste from the middle of the tub because I like it like that, I don't scrape my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher because dishwashers should be equipped to eat whole chicken breasts, I have to put lotion on every day or I feel like my skin is going to fall off, okay so now I look crazy, I'm ending this quirk post.
I tag: Anyone who feels like they want to expose some quirks, just let it out.

PUmPkIN LaNd
Shantell and I decided to take the kids to Pumpkin Land for some fun. Parker, Hannah and Carter had a great time. We did the corn maze, saw some animals, played on the playground and other toys there and picked out a pumpkin at the end. All in all the kids had a great time. They can't wait to go back!

Surprise!
So, I was going to try and hold off and not post this "post" for a while. But, I think people are starting to think I have become some kind of hermit who hates to go out, eat anything and I am sure they are finding it weird why I keep fanning myself, making weird faces, breathing deep and of course why are you carrying a bowl around with you......Well, WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!
And as usual, I am sick. This pregnancy was a surprise for us, I actually had no idea I was pregnant. I know it sounds ridiculous right? Well after my brain started somewhat functioning properly I realized, wait a minute...am I pregnant??? After about 5 pregnancy tests, I finally accepted the fact that yes I am prego and yes I will barf for nine months.
We are really excited for this new little addition. The kids are so pumped and ask me daily when the baby will come out. It is going to be a long pregnancy. :)
So sorry to all of you who have to witness my daily sickness and not so happy attitude. :) Hopefully, things will improve. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The Grandbabies
We went to Idaho over Conference weekend to visit with the Smith Fam. As usual, we had a good time. It was fun to see everyone and the kids had the best time. You get 10 little kids together and there is a lot of laughs and running around. Oh and tons of sugar intake. Parker ate so much candy, he made himself sick. I couldn't help but laugh a little, because I kept telling him, "Next time maybe you will listen to me when I tell you to stop eating chocolate." We had to stop 6 times on the way home because he was so sick. Other than the chocolate overload, our trip was smooth. The kids keep asking when we can go back to Papa Kings and Grammies.

Fairy Princess
Hannah loves to dress up. Every day. Yesterday she decided she was a fairy princess, today she was Cinderella, other days it is Ariel, a cheerleader, bat girl, you name it she dresses up as it. She is seriously hilarious and is constantly making me laugh. Today she walked right up to me and said, "Mom, you really need to shower if you want to be a princess, no one likes a stinky princess." Funny Girl.
