Ottershlurgens and Ice cream

Summer Days and Yummy Treats.
The kids call otterpops, ottershlurgens (jason called them that when he was a kid) so of course our kids just have to call them that.
Ava has found out just how yummy summer treats are. So when PK and Hanny get one, she screams for one as well.
Here is a pic of our cute girls.

Peanut loves the yummy goods.

Me and my blondie

mmmmmmmmmm good

This girl loves any kind of popsicle
otterpops are pretty good teethers for the little ones
At Papa and Grammie Olsons Ava experienced her first ice cream cone and she was lovin' it.
Grammie has these mini cones and they are perfect for Avys little baby hands.
Avy is obsessed with this little trampoline and sits on it for hours
She is definitely an ice cream lover

Here she is going to town on that cone

Savoring every lick and bite
She ate the ice cream in less than 5 minutes. Silly babe.

Pool Rings

Our kids are silly. Most of the time they can entertain themselves and when they do they are pretty creative. I looked outside and this is what I saw:
2 kids+6 pool rings=tons of fun
Silly boy.
Jumping on the tramp with 6 pool rings and eating a popsicle. He's got talent.
Trying to swim with 6 pool rings. He is gifted.

Check me out Mom!

Hannahs turn
Goofy Girl.

Bouncing away
She paused to make a crazy face at me. This girl is a trip!
You have to admit, these kids have talent. ;)

Peanut Hearts Diet Pepsi

Peanut has found a new Love, Diet Pepsi. She just can't get enough.
She sees my drink and she crawls or walks as fast as she can to get to the yellow mug of goodness. She savors each and every sip and comes up for air for just a few seconds and then she guzzles some more.
Love this pic and Love this baby.
Guzzle Guzzle Guzzle
Savoring the yummy goodness.

Sweet Summertime

Summertime really is sweet. Jason would say it, "Saaaawwweeet!" Lazy summer days playing in the backyard. Watching the kids play and swim with their friends. One of my favorite things about summertime though, is listening to kids laugh. I can't help but laugh myself. They think everything is hilarious and so much fun.
Here are a few pictures of what our summer days look like at our house.
Justice, Hannah and Kaley all smiles

The boys love to hunt for bugs, I don't know if this will ever get old, but seriously check out that ginormous daddy long leg they caught! aaahhhh! I was not a fan, but PK insisted I snap a quick pic of it. He said, "We need to have proof of the size of this baby." That kid cracks me up!
Yep, they are still on the hunt.
Do you remember doing this when you were a kid. Getting out of the pool and then laying on the hot cement. I had to snap a picture because it made me laugh.
Here is my view from my comfy outdoor loveseat in the shade.

And of course what kid doesn't love putting the sprinkler under the tramp.
It should be some kind of Summer tradition.
Love Hannys Face in this picture!
Having fun!
We Love Summer!

Time to Brush

Miss Ava thinks she is big enough to brush her teeth now. (She has 3 teeth coming in, but u can barely see them) So I should say, she thinks she is big enough to brush her gums now. We had to get her a tooth brush since she kept taking Hannys or PKs and chewing on it. The kids didn't like that too much.
Ava climbs up on the stool, wants us to turn the water on to get her toothbrush wet and then brushes aka chews for a good 10 minutes.
She is one funny baby.
She still doesn't know that it is her reflection in the mirror, so she tells the "Ba" (baby) in the mirror, "Hi!" over and over again. It is pretty funny.
Need more water.
Check me out!

She is growing up way to fast!

Our Baseball Player

Parker is really enjoying baseball. He told us his team is, "So Cool!"
He has added the Washington Nationals to his list of favorite teams.
We think he looks pretty cool and cute.

I did order pictures, but I just took a few of these candid shots as well.
(at least I know the professional pictures will not have the cemetery in the background. Just pretend it is not there. Parker thinks it is hilarious that the baseball fields are right next to the city cemetery.)
PK's team and his coaches.

Sweet Han

Hannah is growing up. She will be 5 in August, but she acts like she is going to be turning 16.
She is such a joy and has the best personality.
She makes us laugh each and every day.
Today she asked me, "When I am 16 will you buy me a hot pink and purple Mercedes?"
She has good taste if I do say so myself.
Love this Blondie!

G-Funk Baby

Check out G-Funk Ava.
She loves hats, especially if they are her dads.

"What you lookin' at?"

Father & Sons Campout

I was going to have Jason do a "guest" appearance and blog about the Father & Sons Campout, but things kept coming up, so I am going to blog away about what I heard happened on the campout.
Here is a before pic of Jas and PK before they headed out.
Love my boys.
To say that Parker is in his element when he is outdoors, is an understatement. This boy loves to camp, fish, hike, catch any kind of insect and just explore.
Oh and he loves it even more when he is with his Dad.
Parker really likes to fish, I can honestly say that he is becoming a fishing addict.
They caught two fish and he was in heaven!

Here is Parkers friend Isaac doing some fishin'.

Just kicked back.

Parkers friend Max and his dad Justin

Check it out!
Later that night they decided to do some crawdad hunting. Gross. But, they seemed to enjoy themselves and yes people they ate them. Gross, again.
Don't they look tasty???

The crawdad crew

Monkey boy?

Still cooking away

Out on the hunt for more crawdads

Yummy

Jason and Justin said they tasted like lobster. Hmmm, I don't know about that.

Having tons of fun!
Jason and Parker had a great time and can't wait for the next Father & Sons Campout.
Parker just loves his Dad and I am happy they can do these fun things together.
