HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH!

So our sweet little girl turned two on August 25th. Oh my cute little Hanny, the past two years have been so wonderful. You bring so much joy to our family. There are so many things that we love about you Hannah, here is just a few...

Your contagious smile and laugh, the funny faces you make when you are mad, how you love to help mommy with everything, the way you love to pretend to be a little mommy, how much you love Parker & how you insist on calling him Bubba, the way you run, you love to dance & sing to Elvis, you have to wear your pink boots with everything you wear, you love purses & jewelery, you will eat just about anything, but most of all, how much you love to give kisses, hugs and pats.

Sweet Little Hannah

Hanny had a Dora Birthday Party. She absolutely loves Dora and was so excited for her birthday. She kept saying, "Dora cake, Dora presents."
Bring on the cake!

Here is Hanny waiting for the party to start.
Oh my goodness, did Hannah get spoiled. She received so many presents. She loved each one of them. She would open a present & then push it aside & go for the next one.

Hannah loved her Dora cake. We took her to the store & she picked it out all by herself. She was so excited when I brought it out, that she started eating it right away. She could have cared less about us singing to her. She just dug right in! That's my girl!

Thank You everyone for celebrating Hannah's Birthday with us. She had a great time & we appreciate all the love & support!

GOGGLES

So my kids have found the goggles. They love them! Not only are they goggles, but they are spy glasses, aviator glasses, binoculars, reading glasses, hero masks, Hannys pretty eyes, underwater lookers, and my favorite...our buggy eyes. The many different goggle names, were all thought up by my very imaginatve little boy. Who knew that goggles could be so much fun!

A Few Home Pics...

So here is just a few pics of the inside of our home. The kitchen and bathroom cabinetry have been installed. The floors are in. All of the countertops are in. All the lighting is in, the sinks are in the house, just not installed yet and the fireplace is finished. The outside of the house is almost complete. They have started the rock, it should be done by the end of the week. We will post more pics at the end of the week, because a lot of stuff is supposed to be in by Friday. Things are moving fast and we are getting more excited, stressed, tired and pumped to get into our new home. One thing is for sure, I am so happy that I do not have to pack again. I highly dislike packing and moving. So, two thumbs up for moving and staying in one place for a long time.

This might seem weird, since it is August, but I am so excited to decorate my home for Christmas and have a fire and watch Christmas movies with my kids, in our PJs on the couch. So, another two thumbs up for fireplaces, love 'em.

The Smith Home

Here is a few pics to keep you updated on our home. Right now the outside is almost completed. The siding will be done this week and then they will do the outside rock on the house, finish the rock on the fireplace & finish the porch. Inside they have everything covered and taped ready to paint. After that, in comes the cabinets, carpet, lighting, you get the point. We should be moving in by the end of the month and we are SO HAPPY to have more room and have a home of our own.

Sorry about the dumpster and ladders all over.
But you get the main idea of what the house is supposed to look like.
Obvioulsly, the back of the house.

The kids are in the upstairs loft of the house and they were jumping up and down because they are so excited to move in. So, I had to post a few pics of them, it was to funny to pass up.

We will keep you posted on the finishing touches of the Smith Home.

Bear Lake+Parades+Food+Carnival=FUN!!!

Every year, the last week of July we take a road trip up to Preston, Idaho for Preston Days & then we go over to Bear Lake & rent a cabin & spend a few days there. This year was great & we had so much fun!
I think Parker & Hannah had the best time though, they loved playing with all their cousins. It was fun to watch them all play together now that they are all getting older. Hanny definitely got spoiled this past week. She loved all the attention she got & was constantly making people laugh. Every day she would choose someone new that she would follow around, she would constantly hug them & bug them all day. Each day we would say, "Who is going to be Hanny's victim today?" She was also stealing everyones food constantly, if someone abandoned their plate for half a second she was on it.
Parker, also thoroughly enjoyed himself. He loved having his cousins to play dinos with, ride bikes, watch movies with, play games, he had the best time just sitting around laughing with all of them. When it was time to go home, both of the kids were in the car crying because they didn't want to leave. That is when you know your kids had a good time. So here is a few pictures from our latest trip......
Saturday Night we went to the carnival in Preston. Here's Parker having a great time. I loved how excited he was to go to the carnival. He couldn't stop smiling.
As you can see, the kids had a GREAT time at the carnival. This was their favorite ride by far. It was a dragon & they got to go up and down while it flew through the air. Their smiles in this picture are classic!
My parents came up to Preston for the first time. It was great to have them there & let them see where Jas grew up. We hope you had a great time Dad & Mom!
Here come the CRAZY drivers!!
The above picture is a ride called, "The Dragon." On the left is David & Parker. They enjoyed the ride for a while, then by the end Parker was near tears & wanted off. On the right is Braylee & Emma. Braylee couldn't stop laughing & throwing her arms in the air & Emma smiled the whole time & both girls wanted to go on the ride again. It was so funny!

Hanny waiting for the candy & wearing her most favorite shoes, her "Ink Oots."

Braden, Scott, Kayla, Alexis & David having a great time at the Parade! What a bunch of cute kids!!

Parker & Braden waiting for the parade to start
Waiting for candy is serious business, we can all see this by the facial expressions on David, Hannah and Braylee's faces

Parker & Hannah waving to the Rodeo Queens. I informed Parker that if he waved to the royalty girls, he would get candy. It worked, you wave they throw the goods.

Above: Jas, Hannah & Parker out for a swim at Bear Lake

Hannah loved this boat, along with all the other kids. It was a big hit.

Hannah & Lexi havin' some fun & getting really dirty.

We had a great time this past week and can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks Dad and Mom Smith for the cabin at Bear Lake. Thank You everyone for all the good meals, the laughs, and for all the memories we made by being with all of you.

We Love You All!
