32 Weeks.

Today I went to the Doctor for my 32 week checkup. Good news, she is growing and getting bigger and I found out the big bump I have sticking out of my belly is her bum. No wonder when I poke it, she kicks me in the rib cage. I would kick too, if someone was poking me in the bum constantly.
Bad news, I have Bronchitis again. I thought I just had a bad cold, guess not. Just my luck. But, you know this to shall pass.
I now go in every 2 weeks and I offiicially feel like we can see the "light at the end of the baby tunnel" It is almost over! Which is exciting and scary. I am not even ready for her to be here yet, so I guess I better get my act in gear. Oh and it may be good if we figure out a name for her. Since we can only call her "The Baby" for so long.

Questions?????

You know the game 20 Questions??? Well, Parker has made up a new game, it is called 300 questions. The other day, Parker asked Jason and I over 300 questions. I am not joking either.
The boy woke up and he started talking and it didn't stop until he fell asleep. At the time, I was about to pull my hair out because it was driving me insane, but looking back at it now...It was seriously funny.
Here is an example of a conversation that we had while driving:
We are in the car and some lady waves at us, Jason waves back....
Parker: "Who was that?'
Jason: "Some lady."
Parker: "How do you know her?"
Jason: "I don't."
Parker: "How come you don't know her? What is her name? Does she live around here?"
Jason: "I don't know her name and I don't know where she lives."
Parker: "Why?"
Jason: "Okay, I think her name is Janet and she lives right in that house."
Parker: "Why does she live in that house and who named her Janet?"
**I am wanting to pull my hair out at this minute. Jason is laughing hysterically**
Parker: "Why are you laughing? What is so funny?"
Jason: "Nothing."
Parker: "I don't know what the freak you are talking about. What did you say?"
That is how are whole entire day was, from sun up to sun down. Questions, Questions, Questions. I realize that Parker is so smart because he asks so many QUESTIONS!!! He is obsessed with knowing everything about everything and his little brain can't get enough.
Of course, he thinks he is hysterical during all of this and is constantly laughing while his Mom and Dad are telling him to, "Stop." Of course, his response to us telling him to stop is, "Why?"

Recovering.

Little Hannah is in the process of recovering and it has been a good and rough road. The day of surgery she did great. She came out of the anesthesia well and was only a little whiney and wanted Mommy. She ate a lot and drank a lot. The first night at home was HORRID. She barely slept and cried a lot. She was miserable.
Second day, she decided she doesn't want to have anything to do with boys. I have no idea where this came from. But her constant comment is, "I don't want boys by me. I don't want boys to talk to me." Sadly, this includes Daddy, but not Parker (funny huh?). She is really demanding and wants Mommy 24/7. She is still eating well and drinking. We also talked to her doctor and got a new prescription for some pain medicine. She slept for 15 hours last night and you would think she woke up happy right, wrong. She still doesn't like boys, which has now included Parker and is being feisty and mean to everyone.
So, today we are on day 3 and she is in more pain today than the past 2 days and she is miserable and will not eat anything. She only wants cold apple juice. She doesn't want Mommy to talk to her and is getting mad at everything: the t.v., the sun in her eyes, her blanket, her hair, etc. She is a little shaky today and I don't know if that is because she hasn't eaten anything since 6 o'clock last night or because of the pain medicine. Hopefully she will eat and start feeling better. It is going to be a long day if she doesn't. But all in all, she has done really well.
She is a trooper!

Here are a few pictures of Hanny when they brought her out of surgery.

Here she is on day 3, not looking to happy. Poor little thing.
Notice she is wearing a blue shirt, it is one of Parkers Spiderm*n shirts. She may not like boys talking to her right now, but she keeps insisting that she wear boy clothes while she is sick.
We just hope the next few days get better for her and that she continues to have a good recovery. Even though you keep yelling at Mommy to, "Go away!" I still think you are so cute and love ya tons.....Feisty girl.

Tomorrow morning bright and early our Little Baby Girl Princess goes in for surgery. She is getting her tonsils out. We explained a few things to her about what was going to happen and here are the things she is not happy about:
1. That she can't wear her earrings.
2. That she can only bring one stuffed animal with her.
3. That Mommy and Daddy can't be with her the entire time.
4. That she can't have chocolate milk for breakfast.
5. She is worried they are going to put the "wood stick" in her mouth. (the tongue depressor)
6. That she won't get to wear her pink princess pj's during "nurgery." (that is what she is calling her surgery)
We Love you Sweet Girl!
And we are hoping for a really quick recovery!!

The Couch.

This is how my kids should lay on the couch while they are watching a movie or t.v
But....this is what they prefer and think is SOOOO comfy:
OK. It doesn't look to comfy to me, but for some reason laying on the top of the couch which is half cushion half wood, is so cozy.
They are silly.

This Past Week...

Playing Outside, Crafting, Silly-Cute Kiddies and The Rock.
Oh Joy to the Warm Weather we have been having and Oh BOO to the Snow we also had.
On one of the warm weather days, we ventured outside and played. Our fam has the Spring Fever Itch and it just won't go away. On one of these warm yummy days our little Hanny found her shadow. In the pic below she is dancing with her shadow. I should quote it like she says it, "I am dancin' with me shadow."
Then the snow came and while Parker was at school, me and Hanny were extremely bored. Bored, Me?? I know I should be cleaning, organizing, my motivation prego level is hitting an all time low.....So we decided to CRAFT! We had this shiny can and I thought, we can figure out something to do with it. Hanny kept saying, "It is just so shiny!"
We glued some lovely paper on it (Hanny chose all the paper) added some rick-rack, a flower and pearls and it became.......
Hannahs new BARBIE DOLL HOLDER. So, the girl is obsessed with Barbies. Not that I don't mind barbies, but when we are having a barbie family reunion all over the house, I mind. We needed a storage solution, but of course Han insists it has to be pretty and pink. She was THRILLED to say the least with her new Barbie Holder and loves to clean up and put her barbies away. Which makes her Mom very happy.
You may be asking why I took a picture of a rock on my kitchen table. Well I had to document "The First Rock in Parkers Jacket Pocket of 2009" I guess it is officially "almost" spring to me, when I start finding rocks in his pockets. Why do they put them there, who knows??? I guess boys just can't resist the temptation to put a dirty rock in their pocket.
And here are a few pics of our kiddies....
Here is Hanny playing on the slide.
Classic Parker right? He had a big, red, round mark on his forehead after this.
Cute Smile!
Cute Girl!!

I was unaware I had a 16 year old.

I was shopping yesterday with my little Hannah. She is in need of new summer clothes this year, so we were having a great time picking things out. It was so fun to watch her hold clothes up to her body and then look at me with that sweet smile and say, "This one is cute!"
She is also, SO in love with clothes, shoes, belts, purses. If it is girlie, she is obsessed. She is making me love more girlie things too, so it is a good thing. Half way through our shopping adventure, she holds up this yellow shirt and says to me in her most excited voice, "I LOVE THIS!!" Now, her mom wasn't so in love with that shirt. It really was not the best color of yellow and it had an interesting pattern sewn on it. I told Hanny that there was a cute pink shirt behind her, she immediately got this look on her face and said, "Mom, you never like what I like." Immediately my mom brain, confused said, "I was unaware I had a 16 year old?!?!" She threw the yellow shirt down on the rack and marched off. I had no words. My baby is already arguing with me about clothes, you are to little!! Aren't I supposed to pick your clothes out and aren't you supposed to love everything I love for you??? I guess not. If that wasn't bad enough, she marched to Daddy and told on me about not liking what she likes. Jas of course, got a huge kick out of this.
I realized at that moment, that my baby is not a baby any more. She may still be little, but growing fast and becoming her own person. She is stubborn and sassy. Sweet and Kind. Loving and Feisty. Beautiful and Amazing. She is becoming the little person I have dreamed she would be, I guess I just thought I had a few more years of her being mine and following me around and wanting to be like mommy. My baby has decided to become a little lady. I am definitely in for an adventure and a sweet treat.
