Newport Beach

We went to Newport Beach during our vacation. The kids had a great time. I forgot just how beautiful it is. The weather was perfect and it was so nice to just sit around and relax and listen to the ocean.

Taking a walk on the Pier.
When we walked out onto the pier, a fisherman had caught a Starfish. The kids loved seeing a real life sea creature. We all got to touch it and it may seem gross, but it was pretty cool.

I have one good hubby! He is always doing fun stuff with our kids. He helped PK and Han make a sand castle. They had so much fun!
Hanny feeding the crazy birds. The birds at the beach are psycho. They will fly right down and take a sandwich right out of your hand. They stole a bag of crackers from us. They have no fear. Parker and Hannah loved chasing them.
So Gorgeous!
Parkers first walk on the beach.

Parker loves getting dirty. So playing on the beach & having an unlimited water supply was heaven on earth for him. He loved it!
Hannah loved the water. When the waves would come she would scream and clap. But, she wasn't too happy when a huge wave came in and knocked her down.
This was the first time that Parker & Hannah had ever seen the ocean.

Papa and Grammy (aka Dad & Mom)

The Beach was so fun. You can't go to California without visiting the Beach. We had such a great time playing in the water and collecting shells.

California Adventure

Not only did we go to Disneyland, but we went to California Adventure as well. Our family had never been there, so it was something fun and new. They had some fun rides for adults and some pretty cute rides for kids. Again, we had a great time!
We love Disneyland and California Adventure so much, we decide to pay a ton of money to have our name put on a stone so everyone can know that the Smith Family from Utah has Disney Pride. It was worth every penny. :)
Uncle Jerry, Lindsey and Jason going on the ride that shoots you straight up in the air. I passed on this ride, but I did go on the roller coaster shown below. I do need to say that my Uncle Jerry is the best. He went on all the rides. We Love You Jerry!

Bugs Life!
One of our favorite Disney movies

The Bumper Buggy Cars. I think Jas has more fun on this ride than Parker. Parker was seriously getting peeved that people were running into him. We kept trying to explain to him that it is "Bumper Cars, they bump into you, hence the Bumper part." It didn't matter, he was still bugged.
The slowest ride in the world. The kids loved this ride & we had to go on it several times. The caterpillar was soooooo slow. But hey, you gotta keep the babies happy.
Mater & Lightning McQueen...the kids loved these!
Get 'er Done!

My two favorite boys!

Hanny posing for the camera! She looked so cute in her Minnie Mouse Visor.
Hannah & Parker waiting in line for their favorite lunch....McDonalds Chicken Nuggets.
I know I am definitely not a Highschooler any more, but I am seriously lovin' High School Musicial. About every 45 minutes this float would come cruisin' down and these cute kids would come out and dance and sing. Linz and I loved it!
California Adventure was great!

The Happiest Place on Earth....DISNEYLAND!!

This past week we took a trip to California with my parents, Lindsey & Grandma Hannah to see family & go to Disneyland. We had a fantastic time! We loved seeing my cousins & their kids and my Uncles & Aunts. It was so fun to see everyone. My Uncle Jerry & Aunt Carolyn went to Disneyland with us, which was great. The kids had such a great time & loved every minute of it. Parker didn't want to come home. He keeps talking about the Pirates, the roller coasters, the Freaky Eyes (The Matarhorn) and the super fast train (Thunder Mountain) Yes, my son went on those rides, Jas and I were quite impressed.
Hannah loved the Princesses & The Alice in Wonderland Ride. She also loved the Parade & seeing Tinkerbell. She was such a trooper, she was a little under the weather the whole trip, so when we got home I took her to the doctor & we found out that she is really under the weather, she has pneumonia. She was so good for being so sick. Other than Hanny being sick & me almost getting sick on our plane ride, & the kids carseats being left at the San Fransisco airport we had a pretty good trip.
Disneyland is such a fun place, whether you are young or old, there is always fun for everyone.
It really is the Happiest Place on Earth!
Disneyland was getting ready for Halloween, which happens to be one of mine
& Parkers favorite holidays, so we were loving all the decorations they had.
Disneyland wouldn't be the same without....
MICKEY AND MINNIE

SMALL WORLD!
The Disneyland Parade

Every night Disneyland puts on a Parade & it is so cute. Hannah loves
The Little Mermaid, so when Ursala came around the corner she was so
excited. The funny thing is Parker would scream & say, "It's Bursala."

Parker the Pirate. He was in heaven when we found the Pirate store.
He wanted everything! So of course, he got a hat, a gun, a sword & a hook.
Hey, its Disneyland & it is all about the kids.
Captain Jack "Hot" Sparrow. The guy who played Jack Sparrow
was great. He looked & talked just like him.
The Jungle Ride. The kids loved this & our tour guide was hilarious.
Parker thought all the animals were real & every time the tour guide would say
something like, "Hit the Deck, here comes a Hippo." PK would fall on the ground.
It was seriously hilarious, watching PK was better than the ride.

Playing in TOON TOWN!

Lindsey & Parker on the Roger Rabbit Ride. This ride is seriously psycho,
the colors & the weird lights everywhere. The kids were even a little freaked.
Our kids showing off how strong they are.
Hanny loved the fire engine in Toon Town.
Who doesn't love TOON TOWN, it makes you feel like a little kid again.

We waited in line for 45 mins to go on the new "Nemo" ride. It was seriously the best ride. Jas and I enjoyed it as much as the kids. They did the cutest job with all the animation & the kids thought it was so awesome that they got to ride in a submarine. They loved seeing Nemo & the rest of the characters.

The kids loved the "Nemo" ride. It was so cute.
Linz, PK & Han waiting in line for the new "Nemo" ride. It was worth the wait!
The Buzz Lightyear Ride. This ride was so cute, you got a laser gun &
had to shoot at all the different targets & help Buzz defeat Zurg.
Parker was pretty serious about this, you can tell by the expression on his face.
Dad, Mom, Grandma, Carolyn & Jerry on the Winnie the Pooh Ride
Our Disney Princess!

Thanks Dad, Mom, Grandma, Lindsey, Uncle Jerry & Aunt Carolyn for a great trip. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone & made a lot of new memories.

Maple Lake

We went to Maple Lake up Payson Canyon today for a Pre-School Field Trip. First off, let me say that I definitely take this beautiful state for granted. I have always loved living in Utah, but sometimes I forget just how wonderful & beautiful it is. I love that we get to experience all four seasons & Fall is one of my favorite. I loved how fresh the air smelled & the cool breeze. I loved listening to the crunching sound of the leaves as the little kids ran through them & how beautiful the canyon looked with all the different colors.
It was such a great day & the kids had a wonderful time.

Hanny showing me her "Pretty Leaf" she found.
Parker with his Pre-School Buddies.
Parker loved finding all the different colors of leaves & putting them in his bag.

The Pre-School Boys!
