Farmland: Thanksgiving Point

Hannah's Preschool went to Farmland for their field trip this week. It was a lot of fun, the kids had a great time.
Here are the girls in front of Bessie, that is what Hannah named her. Notice they are all "moo"ing.
Hannah LOVED this little baby pony.
It is pretty cute, the mama of this baby pony, wasn't to impressed with everyone checking out her baby and was charging the fence at us.
Cute girls!
Hannah feeding an alpaca or some kind of animal like that, I can't remember the name. She was so nervous, but thought it was hilarious that their tongues were so slimey.
On the tractor ride.
My friend Courtney and her little girl Ainsley.
My friend Crystal and her little boy Thomas.
Uh Oh, the girls got in trouble, so we put them in jail. They don't look to pleased.
We threw Liam in there too!
The girls posing in the "Dance Hall"
If there is a stage, you strut your stuff!
Have to get a funny jumping picture.
So pretty, Love this time of year.
Love where we live.
Hanny about flipped when she saw this horse with braids. She kept telling me, "Take a picture, Take a picture, MOM TAKE A PICTURE!"

Hannah with the baby piggies.

Me and my girl.
We had a great time on the field trip, we can't wait to go back to Farmland!

Playing, Jumping and Walking

Another fun spring day in our backyard.
Ava LOVES being outside
Squishy Puff Smiles!

Strike a pose, Hannah was lovin' her curly hair and wanted me to take a ton of pictures of her.
Another thing the kids love, including Ava is the trampoline.
Check out the smile, I think she is loving it.
Having Fun!

Holy Cheeser, she was laughing so hard when we put her on the trampoline.
The kids love to go for walks on the river trail behind our house.

Parker loves to throw rocks in the river and look for bugs and snakes.

Going under the bridge.

Parker showing us where the beavers live.

We Love Spring time.

1st Backyard Campfire of the Year

The kids have been begging for us to have a campfire since the snow has melted. We told them it had to be at least 60 degrees or higher before we had one, so they have been watching Jason's weather machine thingy and finally it hit 60 and they were on it...so we decided to have a fire for FHE. It was short, but sweet.
The best part is that we got to have SMORES, yummy!
How do you stop an 11 month old from climbing into the fire pit? Put her into highchair jail.
Yummy mallows.
Is it just me or is this baby really chubby? But oh man, she is a CUTIE!Here is Hanny lovin' every minute of it. Notice the highchair is empty, the highchair jail didn't last to long, she tried to lunge herself out of it to get to the fire.
Here is PK, all smiles.
Miss Smore Face.

Miss Ava just loving the fact she is outside.
These girls LOVE their daddy so so so much!
We can't wait to have more campfires. This year I have decided we are going to spruce our smore making up. We are going to use the standard graham cracker and marshmallow, but we are going to use different chocolates. So far we have used the standard milk chocolate, but coming to a smore near you is going to be: chocolate with almonds, cookies and cream, mr. goodbar, kitkat, caramello, butterfinger, symphony bar with toffee and reeses peanut butter cups.
Can we say yum. I will keep you posted on our new smore inventions and how they turn out.

Hangin' in the backyard

The backyard of Papa and Grammie Olson.
The kids love it over there and since it was such a nice day, we thought we better take advantage of the sun and play outside.
Ava refused to look at the camera, she was to busy staring at everything going on. Her favorite things about being outside
*eating grass
*eating leaves
*eating dirt
*watching birds

Miss Hannah loves to play on the swing set

I showed Ava a cookie and so she looked at me and I snapped this pic. She will do anything for food. She is such a silly baby.

Parker kept begging me to get a picture of him kicking the big blue ball, check out his facial expression. He is a funny kid!

Hello Miss Diva!
We are hoping for more warm weather so we can enjoy playing outside some more!

Shootin' Guns

Ever since the kids got their bb guns for Easter, they have been begging us to go shooting. So, we headed over to Papa and Grammie Olsons to shoot some cans in their backyard.
They were way excited.
Papa showed them how to load the bb's and how to work their guns.
Here is Parker ready to shoot:
Ya gotta pump the gun before you can shoot, he was really excited that he didn't need anyone to help him do this.
Here is Hannah with her "Pinky Daisy"

Hannah checking out the cans. She kept telling me she needed to concentrate on where to shoot.
Parker looking back to see where Ava was, she was constantly crawling up to him and pulling on his jacket the whole time.
Lookin' good Han!
Parker and Papa set all the cans up and then Parker took shot after shot and didn't shoot any cans. Hannah walks out, loads her gun, sits down, aims, shoots and hits a can on her first shot.
She turns right to Parker and says, "See girls can shoot to, it isn't that hard Bubba."
Needless to say, Parker MADE SURE he hit a can on his next shot.
