We couldn't ask for any one better and we thank you so much for loving us, feeding us, doing our laundry, putting up with our crazyness, dealing with our stressful situations and just being so great!! You are the best!!

My Grandma Hannah today . You are one of a kind and we couldn't ask for a better grandma/Nana. We love you so much and are so thankful and grateful that you are a part of our lives. Thank you for being such a wonderful example and for always being there for us. She is 84 today and has more energy and spunk then I have at 29!!

My Dad... tomorrow. Dad you are the best!! You are so giving, kind, loving, fun and down right generous. Festival of Lights

We ventured out to see the good ol' Festival of Lights! We had so much fun. Parker was so excited and loves to see all the cool things they come up with. Um, Hannah was...scroll down and you will see. We had a great time!

SO YUMMY!!!

"Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies from Heaven"

I made these for a family party. They were a hit and oh man are they YUMMY!! Give 'em a try, you will love them!!

Here's the recipe:

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 3/4 cup flour

1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Large Marshmallows

Icing:

6 tablespoons butter, softened

2 tablespoons baking cocoa

1/4 cup milk

1 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla.

In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg, milk, vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; beat into creamed mixture.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Meanwhile, cut marshmallows in half. Press a mallow half cut side down onto each cookie. Return to the oven for 2 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack.

For icing, in a small saucepan, combine butter, cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Cool slightly; transfer to a small mixing bowl. Beat in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the cooled cookies. Top each with pecan half.

Eat and enjoy Heaven. :)

Fry Family Christmas Party

Every year we have a Fry Family Christmas Party. We eat good food, laugh a lot, open gifts, watch the kids act out the story of the nativity. All in all it is a really fun night. Our family is getting bigger every year, so each year it gets more fun and of course louder and a little more crazy. We wouldn't change it though!

They look so big here. They are growing up to fast. They sure do look cute.

Parker also had a speaking part this year, he had to say (he memorized it also)

"I am Joseph, a carpenter from Nazareth. I was chosen to be the earthly father to the baby Jesus. This is Mary, my wife, she is the mother of Jesus."

All the kids do such a good job. My Aunt Chris puts it all together and they all have such cute costumes. Our party wouldn't be the same if the kids didn't do this. What a bunch of cuties!

One of the funny things that did happen this year, was right in the middle of taking pictures of Grandma Hannah with the kiddies, the Christmas tree in the background totally ate it. It fell right to the ground for no reason. Our parents weren't to thrilled, but us kids (all the cousins) were laughing our heads off. It was classic!!

YAHOO FOR SNOW!!!!

So my children can finally rejoice and scream, "YAHOO FOR SNOW!!!" They have been waiting patiently since the little October snow storm for some REAL snow. Oh the joy!! I loved getting them all bundled up, they reminded me of Randy from the movie Christmas Story, "I can't put my arms down!" (If you haven't seen that movie, get on it, it is a classic.)

Jas, Parks, Hanny and Koda ventured out in the freezing cold and had a blast! They built a snowman, made snow angels and Hanny rolled all over the yard. She calls it "Snowy Rowin'"

I love kids in snow gear and I am so happy it finally snowed, now it can officially be Christmas time!

The Michelle Obama Angel

Okay, so it really isn't a Michelle Obama angel, but that is what I call it. My mom received this angel as a white elephant gift along with another gold angel and Hannah spotted it at her house and she was in LOVE!! She just had to have it and she just had to have it on her tree. So of course, Grammie gave it to her. When I looked at it, I said, "Hey, she kind of resembles Michelle Obama." Then of course, Hannah asked who that was and so I told her. So now she calls her angel, "The Lady Michelle Angel." She sits right on the top of Hannys tree in her room. So who says that I am all Republican. I mean come on, we support the Pres...Michelle is hanging out on one of our Christmas trees. That is about as good as I can do right now. Hee Hee Hee. ;)

Time 4 Some Christmas Fun

The other night we, me and the kids decided that we needed to do some Christmas fun. Our Holiday Season thus far hasn't been what I thought it would be. So, I definitely agreed that we needed a little fun. So we headed to good ol' Walmart and loaded up on pure sugar. Then rushed home and got everything set up. Our plan was to make our own gingerbread houses (ok so ours are graham cracker houses) and icecream cone Christmas trees. They turned out Awesome, if I do say so myself. I have two little frosting, candy artists on my hands. Parker and Hannah had so much fun! I loved watching them be so creative and how different they are in their ideas of what their houses and trees should look like. They ate way too much candy and got really messy, but isn't that what it is all about. The great thing about our little creations is that we are still enjoying them. The kids eat a few pieces of their little villages every day. We will definitely have to start making this a new tradition.

Making Treats with Grammie

Why is doing things with Grammie always more fun??? Probably because Grammie lets you help with everything and lick the spoons and bowl. Parker, Hannah and Carter had so much fun making yummy cupcakes with Grammie. They loved helping put the ingredients in and then of course getting to have a taste! These kids are pretty lucky to have such a fun Grammie!

Bed Time Chat

Parker and Hannahs Bedtime Conversation:

Parker: "Hanny do you have nightmares?"

Hannah: "When I was a baby I had baby nightmares."

Parker: "What is a baby nightmare."

Hannah: "When babies run around and they are scared in the night time."

Parker: "That sounds weird."

Hannah: "It is not weird, it is scary Bubba!"

Parker: "Sorry. Okay it is scary."

Hannah: "What is scary?"

Parker: "The babies in the night!"

Hannah: "There are not babies in the night, they are in bed, cause they are little."

Parker: "Whatever Hannah!!! You are so freaking weird."

Hannah: "Whatever Bubba!!!! You freaking weird."

Okay, so the conversation went on for another few minutes with Parker ranting and Hannah copying everything he said. Then it went silent, which is when I went in because I didn't know if one of them was doing some wrestling move or something on the other one. I found Parker with the pillow over his head asleep and Hannah under her blanket asleep. I guess they got sick of yelling at eachother.

The 20 Percent.

So, this past week has been a rough one for us, or I should say for my head. I find that I am in the 20% of women who get massive migraines during pregnancy. Yeah! :( Of course, I find that percentage and I just have to drop right in. With Hannahs pregnancy..I was in the 12% of rare itchy rashes during pregnancy. This pregnancy just didn't want to be left out.
So our holiday weekend was not to enjoyable. There was two trips to the ER, lots of IV's and medications, me really getting to know the toilet bowl, and really coming to the realization that this is probably our last pregnancy. Luckily, the baby doesn't seem to be phased by migraines or constant pain killers. So that is good, oh and I don't have a brain tumor. Since, they did check for that. So yeah, my OBGYN says that it is completely normal to have massive migraines during pregnancy and it will pass. Who knows when and everyday is a waiting game as to whether I am going to wake up with one or not. I'm hoping it will pass soon and we can get on to more enjoyable stages of pregnancy, there are some enjoyable stages right???
So, until I feel "normal" again I will not be posting that often or be on the internet at all. My days consist of laying on the couch or hanging by the toilet. I just keep telling myself "This to shall pass."

Thankful For....

I have been a posting slacker for a while now. Not because I didn't want to post, but I have been a decorating fanatic, going to bed by 10, playing with my kids and having fun with my fam. But, since Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I haven't posted one thing all month about what I am thankful for, I have been feeling a little guilty. So, I thought real quick before I head out the door again, I post a few "thankful" things....

1-My Family. I am so thankful for Jason and all he does for our family. I am thankful for my two rugrats and my one on the way. Being a mom can sometimes be a struggle, but so rewarding!! I love these two little kids who are constantly screaming, making messes, running, laughing, hugging, etc. Life wouldn't be the same without them.

2-My family and Jasons family. We are both lucky to come from such wonderful families. What a blessing it is to have so many people who are always there for you and you know they love you know matter what.

3-My home. We worked long and hard for this home. I love that my kids have a place that they can call home.

4-My health. Even though I have crazy nerve issues and a few other little things that are going on, I am seriously doing very well and I am thankful that I can be healthy and carry this new little blessing. I am also thankful for Jason and my kids health, we have been truly blessed.

5-Koda. Okay so everyone knows I haven't been the biggest dog fan lately. I am blaming it on the pregnancy. But I see how my kids react to this little fur ball and how they giggle and smile and run and think that their whole world is perfect because they finally got a dog. I do have to be thankful for him because he makes my kids so happy.

6-Food and Heat. It may seem simple. But what a blessing it is to be able to have enough food to feed my family and that I have a warm home. To me, that is a VERY large blessing.

7-My Grandma Hannah. She is smart, kind, funny, ambitious, caring, giving, grateful, loving, this list could go on and on. I am thankful that I am a part of her family and that I have been blessed to be her granddaughter and that my little Hannah has her name and I hope that I can be the kind of woman she is and that I can pass that on to my little Hanny.

8-Friends. I have many wonderful friends. The girls I grew up with my whole lift, wonderful. Girls I have known for 10 years, wonderful. My new friends in just the past year, wonderful. I have been so blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful, fun, caring, giving friends. What a blessing.

9-This time of year. I love this time of year, I wish this holiday season could be felt throughout the year. Everyone wanting to think of others, to help others, to see their friends and loved ones. I wish all year long could make you feel like that. I just love the feeling that this time of year gives off. You can't help but be sucked into it. It makes you feel good inside and it really does make you want to help others.

10-Just because this is number 10 doesn't mean it is not very important to me. I am so thankful that I a member of the church and I am so blessed and grateful to have a Heavenly Father and Savior who I know love me and watch out for me. What a blessing it is to know that you are not alone and that he is always there for you. I am thankful for this time of year that we get to celebrate our saviors birth and feel his love. Hannah says everyday, "The baby Jesus is so cute and little, he makes me feel warm in my heart."

Kristin: Getting a bigger belly, decorating for Christmas, Cleaning, Cleaning, Cleaning, Constantly thinking.."What am I going to eat, that doesn't sound good.", taking care of kiddies and dog, shopping, trying to get some good sleep, watching Christmas shows, playing with kids.
Parker: Loving school, reading, playing spy, war, house and legos with friends, eating poptarts all day, obsessed with Spongebob Squarepants, playing with Koda, coloring and drawing all day long, writing "I love you" notes to mom all day.
Hannah: Playing house all day, making us call her mom and Parker is the brother and I am the "sista," realizing she wants friends to come over and play to or she wants to go to her best friends house, coloring, watching Dora, Pinky Dinky Doo, Spongebob or Wonder Pets, giving Koda loves, talking to the baby in my gut, singing and dancing to Christmas music.

So, there is our family update. I will have to post some new pics soon!

The First Flakes

Yesterday morning the kids woke me up at 6:30 a.m. to inform me that it was snowing!!!Of course, I didn't believe them because it was so early and hello I didn't see snow on the weather report. So I rolled out of bed and behold, "The First Snow...Flakes" of the season.

Hannah kept jumping up and down and yelling, "The First Flakes!!" Parker kept telling her, "They are not flakes, they are snowflakes." It was pretty funny. Of course the kids wanted to go right out and play. I didn't allow it because I am a mean mom, no it was because Hanny hasn't been feeling that well, so I told her she had to wait for it to at least get a little warmer outside. Then they woke up this morning and the snow is pretty much gone and their big brown eyes got all teary. It made me sad, kids get so emotional over the funniest things. I informed them though, that more snow will come. To that, they started screaming and running around!

Hannah finally being able to play with what snow was left in the backyard. She was making the baby a snowgirl. Since she is pretty sure the "baby in my gut" is a girl.

So pretty. I am just happy that I didn't have to shovel it.
I also realized yesterday that snow=wet dog. Hmmm, I don't know how I feel about that just yet. I guess wet dog=carpet cleaning and I have needed to do that since summer.

Heart.

Today we took a trip to the Doctors office to hear the baby's heart beat. We brought the kiddies along. They were so excited to go. Parker thought the sound of the heart was awesome. Hannah really didn't know what was going on. Then, Dr. Nance pulled out a model of a baby to show the kids and Hanny was hooked. She kept staring at it and I could tell she wanted to hold it. He was explaining that this is what the baby looks like right now. Parker was giving me the look of, "I don't have to touch that do I?" He asked Han if she wanted to hold it and she was so happy. She kept looking at it and saying, "This is so cute!" The kids are so excited for the baby and can't wait for it to get here. I keep telling them only 191 days to go!! :)
Dr. Nance said the baby's heart sounded good and his prediction is a boy. We will be thrilled with a boy or a girl. Oh and just so all of you know, we are the people who DO NOT FIND OUT what we are having. We didn't find out with Parker or Hannah. We like surprises!!

Trick or Treat!

The kids had a great time Trick or Treating this year. They got to go with their friends, so they were so happy!! We only went for about an hour and a half, but by the end they were so tired. Hannah ended up riding in Crystals stroller. She said to me, "This is Princess is just to tired to walk." Parker kept saying, "Okay, I think I am done." They each got a lot of candy and the minute we got home, wanted to eat it all. They are already talking about what they are going to be next year and their plans to decorate the outside of the house. Funny kids!
