Christmas Morning!

Christmas Morning started at 5 a.m....well in Parker's world it did, we informed him that he had to go back to bed until 7.  He came into our room about 10 times between 5 and 7 and then at 6:59 a.m. he yelled, "Wake up!"  Awesome.  Pure Awesome.  We decided not to wake Ava because she would have been a beast that early in the morning.  She rarely gets up before 10.  Jason and I went downstairs, turned on our fireplace and tree and got everything ready to go.  Parker and Hannah were freaking out at the top of the stairs.  We made them wait just a little longer and then just a little bit longer and then....we finally let them run down.
The goods.  I think the kids got spoiled, as usual.
The note Parker left for Santa this year.  He talks about Clarence, that was our elf who visited us from the North Pole.  I love that he writes in cursive.
Hannah's note to Santa.  Check out the portrait of Santa she drew.  Santa's beard looks like he has a bib stuck to his face. Love it.

Santa left Parker, Hannah and Ava a note and the kids were super excited to see that he ate their cookies and drank the milk.

 Big Smiles!
 Here they come!
Jason reading the letter Santa left them.  Hannah giggled the entire time Jason was reading.
Then we opened presents.  Parker got a fishing net.  He has been wanting one for two summers now, so he was super excited.
Hannah was so happy she got her Barbie Bathroom Set.
The Nano Bugs, I don't know who likes these more Parker or Ava.
Hannah got two outfits for Chloe her favorite doll.
Checking out his new Lego book.  It shows you how to build a bunch of cool things.
Hannah's favorite gift this year, her Lalaloopsy doll, which she has named LaLa.
Parker LOVES Monopoly.  He was super excited to get the electronic bank one.
Hannah got her very one pink razor scooter, now she doesn't have to ride Parker's or Jason's.  She was so happy!
Parker loved all the gifts he got this year. He received the BIG Lego he wanted and so he was way excited.
 Jed checking out his stocking.
Jed was hilarious and kept taking all his goodies and bringing them to his bed.  Wrapped or unwrapped he was making sure everyone knew they were his.
 Time to play!
Then skisky puff woke up.  She was a little groggy, but once she saw presents, she was all over it.
She LOVED her new hippo tent.
Every time she would open a present she would say, "Thank you."

Parker and Hannah were such good helpers.  They were so excited to watch Ava open her presents.

Her dress up outfit.  She yelled, "Mom, yook booiful!"
Ava got her very own purse.
Opening up her baby doll.  Hannah was so excited, can you tell?
She was way happy to have a new baby with a baby seat for it to sit in.

Putting on her new sparkly accessories.
All dressed up and ready for the ball.
Then she loaded all her toys into the hippo tent and that is where Ava spent most of her time for the next 3 days.
 The crazy "after" mess.
 Watching Polar Express.
 Skittles for breakfast, yum-o!
Santa also brought Ava balloons, she was super happy!
 What a mess!
Jed was a little obsessed with his stocking for the rest of the day.  I think he was just hoping for more yummy goodies to fall out of it.
We just hung out and played for the rest of the morning, then we got ready for the day and headed to Papa and Grammie Olson's.  We had a wonderful Christmas morning and the kids were so much fun and loved every minute of it.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was relaxing and fun this year.  We didn't have too much planned for the day.  We hung out at home, ate yummy food, watched Christmas movies and just waited until it was time to head over to Papa and Grammie Olson's for dinner.
We did let the kids open their presents from Papa and Grammie Smith that afternoon.  Ava had already been so helpful and tore most of the wrapping paper off of them.
The girls waiting patiently to open their gifts.
Let the opening begin!
Parker got a set of Lego books and he was pumped.  If you need to know something/anything about Lego's you will find them in these books.
Hannah got a Rock Band bracelet decorating set.  She was loving it.
Ava got a ray of sunshine right in her face...oh wait I mean she got this lovely little doll.  Which she absolutely loves.
She won't let anyone touch the baby.  Don't even try to touch it or she flips out.
Jason is such an awesome Dad.  He helped Hannah decorate her bracelets.
I love Hannah's face in this picture, she looks so content and happy that Jas is helping her be crafty.
Then we headed over to Papa and Grammies for some Christmas Eve festivities.
There was a lot of relaxing, watching movies, eating and playing the Wii.
Ava LOVES her Aunty Linny.
We played a little Just Dance.  Watching kids dance is hilarious!
Hannah, Ava and Parker showing us their moves!
They have some really good moves, we were all impressed.

 Linz showing us her skills.
Parker, patiently waiting to open some gifts.
Opening their Christmas Eve Pajamas.  Carter was so excited!
Hannah loved her nightgown.  It came with a matching nightgown for Chloe, her favorite doll.
 Awwww, ain't that cute.
Ava wanted a picture taken with her doll too.
Cutest picture of the night.  All dressed in their jammies and ready for Santa to come.
Hannah got a ski Barbie from Carter.
Ava finally got her very own Barbie.  She was so excited.
Carter gave her the Barbie and this Panda.  She was in heaven.
Then we vegged out and watched A Christmas Story.
We had a great Christmas Eve and the kids were tired and ready to get home to put cookies and milk out for Santa.
