Parks and Ava

Parker and Ava woke up earlier than usual this morning, so it was just the 3 of us hanging out before the sun decided to show itself for the day. I love these little moments I have with my kids. Parker was so cute with Ava this morning and I must say that little Ava loves Parker. Every time he talks to her she goos and smiles at him, it melts my heart.

I am so thankful for my babes. My heart grows bigger each day and feels like it couldn't hold any more love for these 3 little monkeys.

She was almost asleep and Parker was saying to her, "Ava, I love you, you are so cute." She gave him this smile.

I can guarantee these two are going to be buddies.

The Park

We headed over to the park after dinner one night so the kids could play.

Every few minutes I would hear, "Hi Mommy and Daddy!" and there Hanny would be at this same spot, she is a goof.

Some of my best memories growing up were jumping on a trampoline with the sprinkler underneath. We used to make up the best games and run really fast in a circle and slide. I love watching our kids do the same things...they love the trampoline!

Aunt Linny

This is my sister Lindsey. Ava looks a lot like her. Linny is always so sweet to watch the 3 monkeys when we need her. I just had to take a quick picture of Lin holding Ava, who was out cold and all comfy.

We All Scream 4 Ice Cream!!

Our neighborhood is like a daycare, there are so many kids!! Which we LOVE! So of course it is the ice cream mans Heaven on Earth!! He comes around a few times a week and the kids go wild!! Here are Parker, Hanny and their buddies enjoying some yummy ice cream!

Oh and by the way I think the ice cream man is a rip off. I mean seriously, they know how to make the cash..can anyone guess how much these ice creams were?

But, I will keep on buying them, because the kids think it is the coolest thing in the world and your only little once!!

The Dog Puppet

Last week I put in a Baby Einste*n Movie for Ava to watch.

Picture One:

Seems to be liking it. Wide eyed and intrigued and yes I know her blanket looks like it might suffocate her, but I promise she likes the blanket practically covering her whole head.

Still seems satisfied with the movie. Giving a little bit of the "angry brow" and still wide eyed.

Then the dog puppet appeared on the t.v. and this happened...scroll down.

"I HATE THE FLIPPIN' DOG PUPPET! I HATE IT!"

She highly disliked the dog puppet. It took me ten minutes to get her to calm down. I tried to put the movie on again yesterday, just to see if it really was the dog puppet, yep, it is. Same reaction, except this time, she cried so hard she threw up.

Bless her heart, it was still hilarious though!!

My Dearest Sister: Today you are 23 years old and I apologize again for thinking you were 22 today, I have momnesia and tend to forget important things...wait what is this post about again? :)

I want you to know my little sis, what a wonderful person you are!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE ya to death and couldn't ask for a better sister and friend. Thank you for always being so supportive of me, Jas and our babies. I honestly can say that Parker, Hannah and Ava love you more than me. Parks and Hanny are always saying, "Be nice like Linny. We want Linny. Linny is fun, not you." But that is okay, because aunts are supposed to be more fun than mom.

Linny you are always so much fun and can make me laugh until my head and stomach hurt. I love your one liners you are always dishin' out!! You are always so giving to others and are constantly putting other peoples needs before your own. You are beautiful inside and out!!

I feel blessed and truly thankful to have you in my life. Thanks for being my best friend and bestest sister ever!

We Love You Begomes!

Mommy

Hannah and I were outside playing with chalk and I was talking to her about laying down on the driveway so I could trace her outline. She was totally excited about the idea, so I had her lay down and I traced her body and we drew a face and hair on it. Then she wanted me to lay down, so she could trace me. She made me put my arms and legs in weird positions and then she chalked away. She announced with a large smile on her face, "Mom, I'm done and your big." When I stood up, I turned around and saw this:

I couldn't help but start laughing hysterically. She drew a huge circle around my body, that is her "outline" of me. Needless to say, I think I may need to start an exercise program ASAP!

11:03 A.M....Friday

IT IS ONLY 11:03 A.M. AND THIS IS HOW MY DAY HAS GONE SO FAR.....Woke up with a migraine...that is always fun. Right muscle in my arm is completely dead because Ava slept on it all night. Parker drops a large paving block on his big toe...pretty sure it could be broken. Hannah is calling me names that you only call a grown adult and eating way too many pieces of bread. Ava has been crying all morning because heaven forbid I am not holding her. I have not showered and look like a crazy woman. My eyes are swollen, with dark circles under them and there are no words to explain what my hair looks like right now.
I know I will look back on this moment and laugh one day, but right now....how I wish for quiet and my J to be home from work.

She is almost 3 weeks old, it seems like it takes forever for them to get here and once they are here, time goes by so fast you have to cherish every minute you have with them!!

At her two week appointment she weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was almost 22 inches long!!

Crazy!

We decided to take some crazy self portraits of us today, they didn't turn out great, but we sure got a good laugh out of them...that is all that matters right?? Plus, it made our kids smile, so any time you can do that..it is worth it.

We headed over to Papa and Grammie Olson's and the kids got to swim in the little pool...they were a little bummed the big pool wasn't up yet, but once they got swimming the little pool was just as fun!
