Our family has a tradition each Christmas. We make graham cracker houses. The kids love it and every year they eat too much candy and usually get belly aches. Luckily this year, that did not happen. For the past 3 years Parker has made him self sick from eating too much frosting, we are happy to report that he has finally learned his lesson and avoided getting sick this year. Yay! It is fun to watch how each of our kids decorate their houses different.
Parker wanted his to look just like Jason's and had to use as much frosting as possible. Hannah's was all about being cute with lots of colors and Ava just licked every piece of candy before she stuck it on and she was obsessed with the snowman peeps we bought. She kept screaming, "Frosty Snowman!" all night long.
The candy. Yum-o!
Jason melting the sugar so we can stick the graham cracker pieces together. We can thank our friend Lacie for this awesome idea!
I had to snap one more picture of the candy. Hannah saw it and said, "Mom that is so beautiful, it looks like Christmas on a plate."
Getting ready to decorate. Let the fun begin!
I can't tell if she is really excited or on an extreme sugar high. Either way she kept telling me and Jason, "This is so fun!"
Ava had to be big like her brother and sister and do all the work herself, until she got mad and made me do it.
Hard at work.
Hannahs face. Ha Ha!
Jas and I got in on the fun too.
I had to take a closeup pic of Ava's because she had a "Frosty Snowman" party going on in the front yard.
The kids awesome creations! They did such a great job!
They are so proud of their work!
Christmas can't get any better than this! Check out those smiles.
