We made our last camping trip to Del Boca Vista over Labor Day Weekend. It was starting to get a little chilly and we could tell winter was right around the corner. We had to turn the heater on in the motorhome and bundle up each night. But the days were sunny and of course we had tons of fun! The kids were so sad that it was our last trip until next year, they even shed a few tears on the ride home.
Jas, Me, Ryan, Parker and Ava took a four wheeler ride down to the creek. Ava and PK had tons of fun throwing rocks in the creek.
Ryan is so excited to ride the four wheeler.
Ava is all about the four wheeler, that girl could ride for hours.
More rock throwing.
We walked across the bridge. It felt very unsafe and so the walking across ended really fast.
Parker out exploring, that is what that kid does best.
And of course the kids have to play in the sandbox for HOURS.
Jed making his rounds around camp.
Ava finally got someone to take her for a four wheeler ride. Thanks Lindsey!
Jas and Ava are headed up to the cabin to help get things ready for the winter.
This is what we found hanging in front of the cabin door. SICK! GROSS! It was huge!
The trees were gorgeous up there.
Papa and Uncle Sterling have been working a ton to get the deck cover built on the cabin. It looks great, they have done such an awesome job.
Why we were there, tons of jets were flying overhead. The kids were going crazy.
Hannah just had to have a picture of their garden aka branches broke off trees and stuck into the sand.
On one of our four wheeler rides we came around the corner and saw two deer chillin' in the road. The kids went crazy!
Ain't it pretty?
And of course it wouldn't be camping unless the kids hunted down some lizards and tortured them by sticking them in the toy shopping cart filled with a bunch of stuff.
I made the kids let the poor things go that evening. I'm sure the lizards are traumatized for life.
Carter and Hanny being silly as usual.
Ava playing in the sandbox and loving every minute of it.
There was lots of swinging!
And of course we had to watch a movie in the motorhome and have treats.
We had a great weekend. We can't wait until next year!
Thanks Dad and Mom for all that you do at Del Boca Vista. We always make the best memories there and we really appreciate you two!
