Before the snow came, we headed to Salem Ponds so Parker could fish one more time and the girls could feed the ducks and play at the park. We love this spot and it is so close to our home, so we are lucky we get to go often.
Of course I was flipping nervous because birds of any kind scare me to death. Hannah was also nervous, but not Ava. She LOVED it.
Here she is, just standing there staring in awe at all these crazy ducks.
She would hold a cracker out and they would walk right up and take it out of her hand. She would say, "Mom, quack quack."
Yes, Mommy sees and I am about to have an anxiety attack.
It wasn't bad enough that they were eating out of her hand, then she sits down and they climb on her legs, AAAAHHHH!! She didn't even care. She just kept feeding them and yelling, "Quack Quack" in their faces.
My attempt at a picture of our children. Parker just wanted to get it over with and go fish, Hannah obviously needs to stop day dreaming and Ava was more interested in the ducks.
Attempt two could have been half descent, if blondie wouldn't have pulled a goof face. Nice.
More quack quacks.
We walked to the little pier they have and those crazy ducks jumped in the water and followed us over there.
