The Pond

Tuesday we went for a drive and found a pond near our home. We thought it was funny that we have been in our home for 2 years and have never gone to this pond/park before. PK was in school. So, Me, J, Han & Peanut went for a little walk, looked at ducks (which by the way I hate ducks, they freak me out. You never know what they are going to do and they are fast and make loud noises.Yucky ducks.) and let Han play on the playground. It was short and sweet, but fun.

Han looked at this picture and said, they made trees grow in water. Funny.
Ducks, you walk near them and they go crazy like they just know you are going to feed them and then they start hovering around you and making noises, Nightmare!

Han on the bridge, which she said was so high and scary. High? Seriously Han you are killing me here. It was not high at all.

" Take my picture Mom!"

Okay just a note, please ignore Hans crazy, messy hair. She would not let me do it and every time I combed it she would mess it up.

Me and Hubby

Peanut. Cutest babe ever! She on the other hand loved the evil ducks and every time they would come near she would make this little squeaking sound. So funny.

J and Han walking out on the dock to get a better look at the ducks

All smiles!

Han was asking all these questions about the ducks, why are they this color, what are they doing, what do they eat? So, J begins to tell her that the ducks with the handsome green heads and pretty colors are the boy ducks and the plain brown ducks are the girl ducks. Of course, Han asks why the girls don't have pretty colors, J says because the girl ducks sit on their eggs and have to stay hidden, the boys are good lookin' to get the girls and so they have to be attractive. I was getting bugged. So, I turned to Han and said, boy ducks and pretty much any boys have to rely on their looks alone to get girl ducks or any girl, because they have no charm or personality. Han then said, "Boy ducks stink and girl ducks rule!"

Thats my girl! I couldn't help but laugh!!

Just one more pic of the water with the duckies.
