Happy Birthday Miss Ava!

One Year Ago Today we had our sweet Miss Ava, Peanut, Squishy Puff, Skishy, our lil' Love.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Squishy Puff!

Here she is just a few minutes old and she is already waving to everyone.

She weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz.

20 inches long.

She now weighs 25 lbs. and is 29 1/2 inches long as of two weeks ago.

Ava is always happy!

3 months old, what a cutie!

Always wide eyed and wondering what is going on.

She is always on the move ready to explore.

Such a chubba lubba. We can't get enough of this babe.

Always licking everything. She is hilarious! She always has her tongue out or she is holding on to her tongue.

She loves to go for walks and be outside.

She loves trying to eat dirt, leaves, grass and flowers.

She thinks bugs are very interesting and will try to pick them up or follows them around.

She loves the trampoline and laughs hysterically when we put her on it.

She loves to go down her little slide and is very daring and can climb up it.

She is OBSESSED with stairs and wants to climb up them over and over again.

She LOVES food, all kinds of food.

She also loves Pepsi. She gets so excited when she sees a drink with a straw.

She LOVES to dance and she has a pretty good booty shake, finger snap and head bob.

She Loves Barney, Elmo and Tom Selleck (no that is not a mistype, she really loves Tom).

She loves her crib. When we put her in to take a nap or go to bed for the night, she rolls over on her belly and rubs her face in her blankie and giggles.

She loves Parker and Hannah. She calls Parker, Bubba and Hannah, Anana.

She calls me Jess instead of Mom. (Watch "The Man from Snowy River" and you will see why, our kids quote that movie all day.)

SHE LOVES HER DAD.

Ava is always in a staring trance. It is so funny to watch.

She is always so curious and intrigued by the littlest things. She loves puzzles and will try to put the pieces in. You can't help her though, she has to do it by herself. (reminds me of Parker)

She loves to unload everything...bags, drawers, cabinets, baskets full of things. You can't leave anything unattended.

She still loves to push the garbage can over daily, but now she looks at me and laughs when she does it.

She loves to destroy things...books, the barbie house, Parkers lego creations, folded laundry. She also loves to pull all the tissues out of the box.

She can say, "Dada, Jess, Bubba, Anana, Papa, Hi, No, Dis (this), Arr Arr (barking like a dog), Nana, Ga (Grammie), Su (some), Mo (More), Mama (she will only say mama if she is hungry or tired). She sings too, she just blabbers and yells when music comes on.

She is a very easy going baby and will play and do her own thing. (reminds me of Hannah)

She is ALWAYS smiling or laughing.

She loves to give kisses or nuzzle her head in your neck.

She can be so sweet, but so naughty. She is feisty and stubborn and knows what she wants.

She is a sweet lil' Love.

This past year has been so wonderful. We have enjoyed every minute. We know that you have always been a special blessing for our family and we feel so honored that you are our sweet babe. We love your smile, your laugh and your funny faces.

We Love how you make our family so happy and how you make Daddy and Mommy want to be better people.

We look forward to these next years watching you grow and become a little lady.
